I don't think it will bother console gamers much, it give PC fanboys something to gloat about but console gamers are used to playing smaller maps with less players.

I had no problem in BF: BC2, i won't in BF3.

Plus more console gamers play CoD which is 18 players at most and that is less than BF games, and CoD sells like hotcakes.

Thing is both PC and console gamers will enjoy the game, just because you have one doesn't mean you should hate the other.

Just wanted to point out. You dont have to replace your video card every time a new game is released and you dot need to spend 1000$ a year on your PC. The biggest sting is when you first start off. Yeah its a bitch having to go online and spend 200$+ for that quad core but once you get everything set, upgrading is nothing.

Besides, Outdated mid parts like the 5770s GPUs and x4 2.6 GHz CPUs will still work today day unless the game is poorly optimized arcghoblivionchem.

@puertorricanstar I have a PS3 and PC. PC gaming is overall cheaper and longer lasting than console gaming. $800 will get you a decent PC with an HD monitor. PS3 $400, HD TV $600. Thats already $1000 for hardware dating back to 2005.

Mouse and Keyboard imo, are much more accurate than control sticks. There is too much aim assist on console FPS games. And if ur saying Im a no lifer, I dont game that much, I go paintballin with my friends.

Currently, devs have been making games for consoles for the last few years, but many of them do by limiting resolution, AA, texture quality, draw distance and type gameplay. You wouldn't know if the game was made for console first then ported to PC, but you would if the game was ported from PC to console, like in BF3.

They need to upgrade them with a six core or 8 cores and optimize them so that it uses all 8 for example :> Now, with that much CPU power, put some decent GPU and it will run it even with 128... Battlefield games = CPU intensive because theres so much destruction and tons of stuff that CPU renders.. including the sound (which is the best ever) unless you are using a sound card, which you should.
