  • @Athomield I've got good news regarding your comment :) ...ZBrush is designed to work with 3rd party applications such as Maya, 3dsMax, Cinema 4D etc. so you can use both Maya and ZBrush together! I'll show you guys how to do this stuff eventually.

  • :S

  • Yes you can animate in ZBrush but only on a basic level. If you want to do complex animations you're better off exporting your model into a third party application such as Maya or 3DsMax.

ZBrush can set key-frames on a timeline for things like your colours and Wire frame, camera or turntable, stuff you would use for a demo reel. You can also animate your background and materials but it does't transition well or bring in audio files like music but it's all very basic stuff.

    Hope this helps

  • @BadKingOnline Lol, that wasnt what i asked, because I'm beginner here, but thanks.

  • can you animate models created in Zbrush?

  • @botukasLT In addition to my post below, there are ways to do things like lip sync but like I said it's all very basic.

Have a look at my 'SpiderBot - ZBrush 4 Hard Surface Modelling Techniques' video demo as an example of what ZBrush can do.

    Cheers,

    BK
