Sugar Hill Gang's widely known classic, Rapper's Delight, was a sample. 99% of 80's and 90's classic Hip Hop tracks are samples. Don't get me wrong, i agree that there will never be another decade like the 90's, unless we have a renaissance movement, but I disagree with knocking sampled music. oh and i am a musician, play piano and bass.

What a shame that Tony Thompson died at such an early age. Listening to his vocals you can hear the talent. Hi Five's contribution to the golden age of R & B is huge.
