The zook has a 3.8L v6 with a small toyota supercharger, t700 auto, hilux transfer case, 60 series landcruiser front diff with arb air locker, big GU patrol rear diff with arb air locker. The rear locker would not stay locked so we pulled it out and found a little bit of rust were the rubber O ring .
We cleaned it and put it back in it did not fix it.
It doesnt look like he has a locker in the rear. That right rear meat just sits there. I dont know maybe he does, and his engine sounds weak. He needes more power man. Nice adjusting though!!
I'm sure it has a locker, but i am almost confident that it has an atlas II transfer case. which allows you to disengage either the front or the rear axle (at drivers descretion) to allow for spin. he was sideways with the top end low... disengage the rear and light up the front and have your spotter or a snatch block pull you sidewise to line you up again.
if ya look at 0:06 you can see his spotter behind the right side of the tree... like i said he lights up the front end with his atlas II t-case while the spotter pulls sidways to straighten him out. its pretty sick when it works... too bad he was too far gone.
I think we should get the top 5 vote getters from previous Top Truck Challenges, and 5 winners of this and go head to head. I think it would be a cool comp. Different rigs have different advantages, see who the best drivers are.
yhe suspention looked hella wak what does it have???

The driver ( Steve) was very new to four wheel driving, it was his third time driving off road and his first comp
and the navi's (Andrew) second comp.
They have since learnt to drive a bit harder.

I agree but it would help to have all 4 meats spinning.

alot of damage is dealt in this comp, he could have blown it

it's about the torque not the power you could have a v8 in it and it wouldn't make any difference because it doesn't have enought torque
