IMHO this song is sub-par to A.R.Rahman's standards. And the fact that Rahman took a very short time to conceive the basic tune doesn't make me happy either. For the people who think it is unnecessary and adds insult to the injury of Sri Lankan massacre of Tamils I have one thing to say.Humanity turned a blind eye to the mass murder by Rajapakse.US and UN did not find Tamilians worthy of their support.This conference will not change all that immediately.But it is a good start an attempt to make the International community take note of the rich culture of our Language and someday in the future we may be saved from slaughter if it were to happen again.
