  • I love that final shot - Sherlock and Moriarty staring at each other through the cell walls...

  • Sherlock: Look John I'm being clever and isn't this so much fun!

John: Sherlock, we talked about this. Behave.

Sherlock: aww. -looks to Jim- You're on my side, aren't you?

Jim: Of course, let's have some fun.

  • Wonder waht theyr doing in ther..., are the punshing each other?? or are they talking, or flirting? Maby they tell jokes(LoL) Waht do u pl think???

  • i love the little smiles that Moriatry and Sherlock give each other at the start, its almost like they know something everyone else does'nt, a shared understanding or a private joke lol

  • Goes to show you when you have brilliant writers and brilliant actors how good tv can actually get. The scenes with Sherlock and Moriarty were so bloody Epic I defy anyone to watch them and not get goosebumps

  • I really wonder what he said right after the judge yelled at him...

  • There like school kids laughing while the teacher is yelling at them

  • I love how Sherlock and Moriarty look like they're both trying to not laugh. Like even though they're enemies, they are in agreement that everyone around them is an idiot.

  • Sherlock and Moriarty keep throwing mini smiles!

  • I love how him and John have both had scenes like this, where we don't see what happened but we definatly see the consequence. ;)

  • I love how at the beginning he smiles like, "Look, John! I'm being clever!" and when John clearly doesn't approve he gets sad and then throws a bit of a tantrum. XD

  • the end of this with them turning to eachother makes me imagine Moriarty going "Hey there. ;)" and sherlock being like " Crap. D:"

  • Can't help but feel that Sherlock chose to be held in contempt, just like he says that Moriaty chose to be in custody.

  • Are Moriarty and Sherlock in the same cell together? I'd be terrified to be locked in the same room with Moriarty...

  • Why was Sherlock in a holding cell?

  • @Blinkinandwinkin Contempt of the Court XD ... and I´m actually surprised that it was his first time :-D

  • ......guess not. It's Sherlock, he lacks impulse control. But, to be fair I woulda done the same thing. :-)

  • I've been trying to make my mother watch this show, but she refuses. "Why not?" "Because it's British." "Do you have something against Brits?" "I don't understand the accents." "You were fine watching Guy's movie. They had accents." "I hated that at first, but got used to them." "So do you think you won't get used to it here?" She then turned around and shut her door in my face. This is why I hate being a teen- a kid would be forcably dragged from their room if they dodged a question like that.

  • I'm surprised he didn't use the 'I am a show off, that's what I do!' response to the judge.

  • You should put the scene from Hounds where Sherlock is freaking out, as in the whole scene where he's deducing stuff to prove he's okay. Pretty please?!?

  • Apparently not.

  • The consulting detective and the consulting criminal are staring at each other through the wall!

  • The silent conversation held between those three characters is absolutely wonderful.

  • Moriarty's smirk made me realise this is actually the first time he's scene Sherlock's 'glance deducting' as I like to call it. He's impressed.

  • No, sir, he can't.

  • I think in the beginning, John lifts his chin to encourage Sherlock. Like when you do when someone is nervous, reminding them of how they are strong enough to do something and you tell them to stand tall and lift their chin so people can see them. It's lovely. :-D

  • 0.06: Moriarty's thinking "Dayum that dude's hot..." and I have to admit, he's got a point... ;)

  • S- Jawn. Hey Jawn! Lookit how smart I am aren't you proud of me?? AREN'T I SMART JAWN!?

    J- smh

M- That's my Sherly! Rendezvous in the holding cells later?

  • Sherlock: D'you like why I did there John? Are you proud? :)

John: No, not at all, you shouldn't have done that! :|

Sherlock: Fine! Whatever! I'll find someone who's impressed! What did you think Jim? :)

    Jim: Verrryyy ggoooooooddddd! :D

  • After he smiles at John he smiles at Moriaty and he smiles back. Seems like they're both having fun.

  • I can´t stop laugh! :D :D :D

  • It would have been nice if John or Sherlock shouted OBJECTION,

just for the heck of it.

  • "Can you survive just a few minutes WITHOUT SHOWING OFF?!"

    "Nnnnnno."

  • I love his little smile to John, like he's thinking 'I know you love it when i do this'. xD he loves Showing Off because John loves it xD

  • One thing I dont get... why would anyone want Sherlock to stop showing off?? It's sexy and fun :)

  • Um..... no

  • I just love the breath before he gets locked up. Genius writing.

  • Does anybody know if they're in the same cell or two separate ones?

  • @Gwenjane11 2 separate ones. =)

  • @Gwenjane11 They're in two different cells. You can tell by the divide between them and the fact that they were pushed into two different doors. :)

  • I would give a lot to know what he said.

  • The TENSION in this scene...even though they're in separate rooms is just absolutely spectacular! It gives me chills every time I see it. It's almost like they're imprisoned together just WAITING for the other to make a move! Moments like this really highlight the cinematography and editing, which is absolutely stunning-it's one of the best things about the show, honestly.

  • classic sherlock!

  • ohh come on, if anyone is acting in a non-aproved-court-manner it´s the judge.

lol, sherlock has this air around him that says " sooo worth it" when he`s being lead to the cell.

  • oops.

  • i really want to know what he said to the judge

  • @whereisangie probably the judge's life story. :)

  • love how sherlock's kind of smiling as he gets lead to the cell! :D

  • That edit from Sherlock taking the breath to the jail scene = priceless.

  • The two most brilliant minds in the same prison cell. See how that works out...

  • Oh Sherlock... thank you for these. Still a few weeks before we get them down under and I can't bear to wait any longer!

  • Nope

  • You know what's kind of funny is that he REALLY can't. At the end of the show when he tells John that he's a fake, that none of his brilliance was real, he's doing the opposite of showing off, and he "kills himself" moments later. I know he doesn't really die, but the point still stands.

  • "without showing off"

    mmmmm nope

  • Sherlock and Jim were not placed in the same cell but the shot makes it seem like they are. Though they both know that the other is right next door. They can sense each others presence.

  • I wonder what he said after that...

  • First time watching this, I said, "No, he can't." Three seconds later, Sherlock proved me right.

  • Ya know which show off clip I love? In the hound of the baskervilles ep when Watson tells him not to be a show off. His response is win.

  • ah, there truly are times when words aren't necessary. steven moffat, you're a genius

  • They locked Sherlock and Moriarty in a room together and then don't show us what happened! Dx

  • Sherlock was like--- "bitch, you got some nerve talking to me that way." XD

  • I love the part where he inhales-cut scene- then it shows him going to a prison cell XD

There's a similar scene when Mycroft tells him to put some clothes on. He breathes in- cut scene- then it shows him sitting on the couch with clothes on. I love Sherlock XD

  • Obviously not...

  • I love how he goes to talk, and is put into prison. Lovely scene <3

  • High brows low brows I don't know do you no browse in a library in a big girl's blouse?

  • ...I guess he couldn't help showing off xD

  • @Dracilla112 You don't say?

  • is that... judge... Timothy Carlton? Aka Benny's dad?!

  • @ThingsWeSaidToday

No. Benedict's father seems to be playing judges fairly often, but not this time. However, Moriarty's lawyer was played by Ian Hallard, husband of Mark Gatiss.

  • @carbonbrush1 Ah I see.... yes he doesn't have the right cheekbones, does he? :P I didn't know Mark Gatiss was married, oh that's awesome! Thank you for being informative :)

  • @ThingsWeSaidToday

Not at all, really. I would be overjoyed to see Benedict together with his father, though. Seems they will both be in Parade's End, but I don't really know if they are going to share many scenes, or in fact if any.

  • @carbonbrush1 well they appear very briefly together in 'stuart: a life backwards', where he plays a judge...

  • @ThingsWeSaidToday

Oh, thanks for the info! Will have to see it. :D

  • Love how both John and Moriarty are the only ones giving a look like they know Sherlock can't resist showing off. The way he opens his mouth after the judge threatens him with contempt and then the scene changes to him being put in a cell is hilarious, I guess he really can't help being clever.

  • "Do you think you could survive for just a few minutes WITHOUT SHOWING OFF?"

Oh, God, we all already know the answer to that question.

  • That was a silly question to ask...

  • Thanks for this :)

  • If I didn't know better I'd say that Sherlock is flirting with John in the beginning :P So cute how he smiles at him <3

  • @multatula Do you really think Sherlock needs to flirt with John, at this point?

  • @MsSherLocked Thank U ;-D I've watched the ep itself 3x.So much meat to chew on!! I'm not even trying to solve the mystery LOL. Great acting, story,& music. John begins the ep confident as advisor/partner/friend-events begin to speed up/confusion-anger grip him he explodes at Sherlock's non-chalance when if his mind was clear he would know something is very wrong when Sherlock can ignore Mrs H.being "shot." He wants so badly to protect them all. Superb acting. Love Love Love this episode!! <3

  • @MsSherLocked have you posted the clip with the little girl screaming? Another favorite of mine...I absolutely love that scene as he's rushed out of the room and is so devastated & hurt-very very very well acted by BenedictC. For me, the entire episode was an act as I think Sherlock & Mycroft have been working on a solution to defeat Moriarty since the day he was released from prison. Sherlock is faking death & Mycroft is faking indifference- He Loves his brother & vice versa! <3

  • @poppyf01 I haven't, but right now I'm putting it on my request list :) I'm glad that there are people who actually watch these clips, that's the only reason why I'm uploading them :D and yes, I think so - there surely was something between Sherlock and Mycroft :) and Benedict and Martin are obviously both incredible actors, the whole episode was a masterpiece...

  • I so loved this scene-laughed out loud because dear Judge...the answer was No! :-D Loved the smile Sherlock gave John and the answering frown from John entreating Sherlock to please behave...Moriarty thinks he has Sherlock right where he wants him....but he's sooo wrong. Can't wait for Series 3 - I believe in Sherlock! Thank you for posting these vid clips @MsSherLocked!! <3
