how to rear this? hiankun.. are u chinese? i'm breeding guppy and looking for some small size of food for them like microworms... i don't know how to rear it.. can u teach me please..
Hmm, actually I am Taiwanese and of course I read and write Chinese. To rear the micorworms, you need to get some of them from someone, and then put them into bread soaked with milk. In several days, they will grow into large amount. But you need at least two containers to keep them ``fresh'', because they would consume the food (bread + milk) and produce... excrement. So you have to take some of them to another new container with new food, and clean the original container for the next usage.
I am sorry to reply you so late. I fed them with bread and milk. Add the milk till the bread become wet to be the base, then put some worm on it. They will grow to swarm in 2 or 3 days. You have to prepare at least two container for them. One is for the old group, and every several days, you have to put new food in the new container and take some worm from the old one to the new one. Then clean the old container. By these procedures, you can always have fresh and vital microworm.
I got that from one fish keeper. The microworms are really tiny. Their diameter is only about 0.2 mm and I don't think you will feel anything when you get your hands on some of them... :-p

By the way, as you are breeding guppies, their babies are big enough to eat normal dried feed. If you don't have powder dried feed, just grind it.
