On the high notes, try singing from your abdomen, not your throat. If you watch yourself on the big notes, check out how your neck becomes strained. Focus on drilling those notes from your adbomen. Other than that, I think you sound pretty good and big respect for posting it! Good work

I really want to hear what your voice sounds like with a mic and effects. To sing rock without a PA is like training x-country wearing sandbags. You're probably a very dangerous man when you've got a mic.

All this negative talk about falsetto. People singing high stuff are not using "full voice" as ive seen splattered all around youtube comment boxes. The singer has simply strengthened his high end singing range so it doesnt sound like your everyday falsetto, for example Robert Plant, great singer, great range but its all strong falsetto in the end.

well dude...falsetto is cool and important...but you have to enhance it too that's what full voice is a combination of your chest head nasal and falsetto voice. nothing wrong with falsetto but my point he needs to work with his phrasing

kickass job dude....but the screams the end...you're just singing in falsetto and you're phrasing kinda sucks ass...what you're doing is kinda easy just try to put a scratch in your voice by pushing your diaphragm inwards..and use the vibrato from there dont just shake your head it'll seem too obvious to people who know who to sing opera or something...but you got a lot of balls to put this up and great voice man but jsut fine tune yourself...you even fuken look like ripper

That's kind of a mixed bag, closedcoil. I studied voice with Jon in both high school and university (opera, jazz, contemporary... and he has a beautiful voice). Kickass is right, but I'm having tremendous difficulty with the critiques. The strength and support he gets from his diaphragm allow his phrasing to kick so much ass. I don't mean to be rude because I think you mean to be constructive, but perhaps you'd be better suited to help him pick out an outfit.

well you're right he does have an amazing voice. The way this particular song's coming off is that he's doing it too fast. Sounds like falsetto not a scream he just needs to push his throat back that's all. Always room for improvement.

He can do better judging from his other stuff. his phrasing is not good at all in my opinion it sounds like he's taking shortcuts. anyone can wail out high notes with a little practice but to make a clean scream takes some time.
