Poor pink has been bain washed like a lot of other people... What we can do is fight for animal rights in those countries. Saying that we shouldnt buy wool is stupid, what can we wear if we cant have leather, suede and now we cant even have wool?! If we dont buy wool then all of the sheep that are still alive will either die out or be killed in mass numbers because they will be seen as pests. Taking wool from a sheep is not cruel at all. does pink, or anybody really think that all farmers have the resources to individually check every single sheep in their flock regularly? it's not a fair comparison, but until fairly recently in america they didn't use any sort of pain relief for new born babies who have their genitals mutilated without their consent (circumcision). and the standards used for lethal injection to execute inmates on death row are very often much lower than standards used for animal euthanasia.

Linear2009. While you are correct Pink is a PETA supporter, to her credit she investigated the issue herself after making this ad and changed her mind to some degree. She met with farmers, vets and serious animal welfare organisations doing her own research. It was after this that she said she "had been misled by PETA" and "should have done more research". I say well done Pink for being honest enough to change her mind on an issue once she knew more about it.
