  • "The Jedi do not believe in killing their prisoners. No one deserves execution, no matter what their crimes." - Jedi Master Bastile Shan

And that was a long, long time ago! :P

    /debate

  • to all who are against this. don't you think they deserve it? why should they get to live the rest of their lives while they ruined/ended others?

  • @mugchuger Bud I spent 1 year in supermax, 6 months housed with people with death sentences. Those asshole pigs in that place couldn't barely tie their shoes, let alone get the right person for execution. Damion Echols spent I don't know how many years on death row and was nevertheless released recently because there was almost zero chance he committed the crime. That type of thing happens everyday, I've seen it with my own eyes. That's why the death penalty is unjust in the US.

  • Isn't it funny that these sanctimonious morons who are against the death penalty are the same idiots who favor abortions?? Misguided fools.

  • I think the US death penalty is barbaric !!

  • isnt it funny that these sanctimonious morons who are in favour of the death penalty are same idiots who are pro lifers ?? Misguided fools

  • i killed a man, im a murderer, now you'll kill me, your a murderer...we are both the same

  • On the death certificate it states the manner of death "Homicide". Interesting. 9:02

  • so... who wants to be executed??

  • wow i will be working in the prison this shit is crazy real talk

  • @fasfsdfasd I couldnt agree with you more, the biggest problem i have with the death penalty is how innaccurate our system is in getting the right criminal convicted. Lots of times emotions in a community run hastily leading the people to just want ANYONE to pay. That's when our system turns against ourselves. Lots f people are in the wrong place at the wrong time, and the only thing that stands between them and death is 12 people too dumb to get out of jury duty.

  • if Casey Anthony is due to be executed soon - I'll gladly sign up to throw the switch.

  • Comment removed

  • @er10b She was found not guilty and is walking free because of the stupid jury.

  • fk all countries with the death penalty.

  • @richrichrichism YEAH BROSKIE :P

  • this executioner didn't know what this guy was talking about when he asked that question? Doctors are not allowed to participate because of the hipacratic oath that they sware to.

  • what happens if they get the warden mixed up with the criminal?

  • What age it is to be on the death penalty

  • @coolVideos231196 18 or 21.

  • @Hobbitchoker Oh, wasn't it 16 once.

  • @coolVideos231196 You can be tried as an adult at the age of 16 with limits.

  • @Hobbitchoker Oh shit. Some kid was tried as an adult for lots of killing, can he be sentanced to the death penalty

  • @coolVideos231196 No. Like I said, they can be tried as an adult at the age of 16 with limits. Courts vary on how they would handle it. Some would give him life, others would try him at that age, and when he comes to the age to recieve the death penalty they would probably try him again. But, I can be wrong. Normally once a trial has made a Life Behind Bars call, it sticks.

  • @fasfsdfasd The prosecution's leading arguments came from witnesses who had been coerced by police.

You can't be sure of Davis' guilt, nor can I. There was enough reasonable doubt, however, to either stay his execution or give him life without parole.

  • @fasfsdfasd Troy Davis: No DNA evidence. No murder weapon ever found. In the trial, which was largely based of witness testimony, 7 out of 9 witnesses said they were coerced by police and recanted their statements. Georgia executed him two months ago. Not a decade ago. Two months ago.

  • @Herculieas troy davis was definitely innocent. im ashamed to live in the state where the execution happened.

  • @fasfsdfasd It also ends innocent lives at the expense of the tax-payers and isn't applied equally to all people. There's nothing objective about it. It's the truth.

  • @fasfsdfasd It's not about belief. It's about acknowledging the truth.

  • @fasfsdfasd Blacks cause most crime. Men cause most crime. I agree with you. Because this race and this gender cause most crime, our judicial system stereotypes and gives them harsher punishments. Although women have been responsible for 10% of murders in the U.S. since 1976, less than 1% of all those women have been executed. That is a sexist system. Traditionally, punishments are harsher for black men if they raped white women rather than black women. That is a racist system.

  • @fasfsdfasd No, it's not racist. It's racist, sexist, and generally prejudice. We have designed a system in the U.S. where race, gender, and demographics play a role in the punishment received - this is flawed.

  • This is just sad! They don't know that the family of the executed person is also emotionally devastated! Take off the death penalty. I agree with the European Union, and the Americans don't think murder is a sin because some of them don't believe in a GOD. The justice system murders people, by executing them for their bad sins.

    Mariana Erwin

  • What are these people? We are not GOD, which has only the right to take someone's life. The justice system had already murdered criminals, by executing them. In our country, we had death penalty until 2006. Murderers should never be killed to change their behavior. Put them to life in prison, or even years. Not this barbaric procedure. I pray for the souls that were innocent.

    Mariana Erwin

  • Don't wanna get death row? Don't murder

  • Just a little historical fact: Vlad III (15th century war lord) would actually eat his dinner while watching people being brutally put to death by impaling on stakes or pikes

  • fact: out of all death penalty cases, 7 out of 8 are in texas

  • Fuck off youre death sexed murder.

  • No silver teen.

  • I am a live youre ugly peddofile bhuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

  • Gang off.

  • Peddo murder i want slash youre head meat and ball off state.Death drift warning off the clock is tickking afraid youre low sucking freid pedy of future side.

  • Youre meat herbinate

  • State shot of short.

  • Fuck off state officeiol

  • You rasining problem at that piont.

  • Babe low queen.shot of short.

  • You think youre hard guys i am pretty of law without warning.

  • fuck that it all depends on the crime they did. child murder/rapist is on my #1 death list.

  • lol@people thinking DNA is the be-all and end-all of justice. Labs serve the prosecution, especially when one is represented by a public defender on a shoe-string budget. Also, It is very difficult once sentenced to have a case reopened for DNA evidence to be examined. Statistically, economically disadvantaged and minority persons are disproportionately sentenced to death. The wealthy can effectively "buy" justice with high-powered attorneys. "Justice System" is a misnomer in every sense.

  • Sounds like Hells Bells from the begining. A dead beat for the end.

  • eye for eye teeth for teeth

  • @82pista

"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind."

    -Gandhi

  • @cartagia2 If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into H***.

    -Mark 5:29

  • @cartagia2 then dont take out some body else's eye in the first place

  • @WALKUREX Thank you.

  • @82pista Except when they're innocent. Or mentally disabled. And the state-sanctioned way is more humane. So, not really. Also: not an effective crime deterrent, costs nation more than life without parole, whites and women are more likely not to get executed in same/similar cases to blacks and men.

  • If I were in that position I'd pull the switch in a heartbeat. For the kind of things they do, they should be thankful for such a quick death.

  • I read in NEWSWEEK that now Wardens in prisons do not want the Death Penalty

They say that placing the burden on them is becoming to much ask for

In the same article Executioners are asking themselves if they committing murder for the state.2 executioners committed suicide because what the job had done to them.Think about it could YOU pull the switch and watch someone die simply because you were paid to do it?

  • @philipme109 yes i actually can do that i dont care i wonder what are the requirements for that job

  • professional demeanor is required in the witness room? does that mean that doing the wave is out?

  • FUCK DEATH ROW

  • You know im so sick of all u people debating this crap!! All we can do is pray that people choose to live humane lives and hope for peaceful endings. There r reasons for execution. But in time we will have to answer for it one day when we face out creater

  • I am fully against the death penalty. It is neither morally nor religiously acceptable to take ones life away. God was the one who gave life and he is the only one allowed to take it. Some might say: "he is a murderer!" but the justice system is becoming a murderer itself by killing him. Two wrongs don't make a right. The person who did the alleged crime should be submitted to a life of imprisonment. Not death. I can understand where others come from but killing is never the answer.

  • @KillerChaos93 I am fully against murder. It is neither morally nor religiously acceptable to take ones life away. God was the one who gave life and he is the only one allowed to take it. Some might say: "they're murderering him!" True, the justice system is becoming a murderer itself by killing him. Two wrongs don't make a right - but I guess you shouldn't do the crime if you can't do the time.. The victim should never have been killed. Then there wouldn't be any debate, huh.

  • @FiggysAmber The debate is to whether or not the death penalty is acceptable or not. You say: "you shouldn't do the crime if you can't do the time..." Your correct. Im am in full support of life imprisonment but NOT the death penalty. Wouldn't you want someone to suffer for the rest of their lives in that hell hole (prison) and remember the bad that they did or just die?

  • @KillerChaos93 In a near-perfect (or better) world there would be a mind reading machine that would determine truthfully what the prisoner wanted - life in prison, or death. Then the opposite sentance would be carried out.

  • @FiggysAmber In a near-perfecr (or better) world, people wouldn't commit such crimes.

  • The criminal justice system is so wrong for killing people that kills. Who are we to judge whether a person leaves or dies.. We are not GOD. The United States is setting a BAD example that if you kill it is okay to get revenge. I am praying for us all.

  • blackman always wanted to fuck the white man and get away with it, heh, now thay get away with it,........

  • What kind of sick people can support something like this? Capital punishment is clearly nothing but the cold-blooded murder of defenseless human beings. Would you also suggest that we rape rapists etc? The barbaric behavior of violent criminals is not to be copied by the state. Do also consider the family and loved ones of the offender. They are victims in this as well. To be forced to bury your own child is a parents worst nightmare. Don't put anyone through that!

  • @wackotaco Hello I FULLY support you position

You have said ONLY what NEEDS to be SAID Though when I comment I got a lot of negative feedback

Bless you for your words.Something else to consider it cost US tax payers 100,000 of dollars in legal

defense fees It was a privilege reading your words

  • Death row IS murder, i thought they were against it?

  • You people can debate all day long, but you'll never understand the release the families of the murdered victims feel when these people are put to justice. Living off of the taxpayers in air conditioning is not justice. If you think lethal injection is so inhumane, be thankful you weren't alive centuries ago.

  • @bamabelle327 I spent some time in a supermax prison, there were at least 2 people on my tier with death sentences. I can assure you there was no air conditioning, (what a laugh). Most of the time we didn't even have food.

  • The penalty for 1st degree murder should ALWAYS be death.

  • To all you people who don't like the death penalty.... How would you like to be put in a room with the inmate being told that if he killed you they would set him free.... what do you think would happen? Would you want to do that? If someone is sentenced to death it is for a good reason. I do however agree with some reformation of the system. It is cheaper to give life without parole than death row and execution.

  • Umm.... This is some seriously sick and disturbing stuff, why did I watch it!

  • THIS IS SICK!!!!!! I CAN'T EVEN BELIEVE THEY DID THIS TO TROY DAVIS WHO WAS INNOCENT!!!!! MAY GOD BLESS THEIR SOULS!!!!

  • @VampiresBiteHard666 wow ur liberal much and haha no one thumbs up big surprise

  • @Mich199999 thats cause everyone are assholes and believe in revenge

  • @VampiresBiteHard666 u would to if your family was murdered by some crazy guy so dont try to act like your better cause ur not ....im not so fuck off

  • @Mich199999 no i WOULDNT im against the death penalty so u fuck off

  • @VampiresBiteHard666 wow liar much.....and i already fucked off ;)

  • @Mich199999 im not fucking lying im against the death penalty i dont believe the government murdering inmates is right

  • @VampiresBiteHard666 if they deserve it? so if i kill 20 people i molest little boys rape grandmas and spit on the mentally handicap you would let me live? i would kill that person for just doing one of those acts. human rights or not everyone is a little evil

  • @Mich199999 wrong the death penalty takes away every humans right to live so your wrong and yes i would let you live if you commited murder the death penalty is nothing more than a nazi practice to kill jews during ww2 and the usa is using a NAZI PRACTICE today on usa cizitezns it needs to be abolished down with the death penalty

  • @VampiresBiteHard666 are u kidding? me wow how dare u compare the policy of killing those WHO HAVE DONE WRONG IN THE FORM OF MURDER ANd SO FORTH to the holocaust how dare u sir or madam. the Nazi did a lot more than just murder they did worse medical experimentation, rape, GENOCIDE...may i continue? the death penetly will stay for die hard like me and the who state of Texas. and some of the people who are killed in capital punishment arent even citizens u no brained asshole. you logic fails

  • @Mich199999 no i am not kidding i am 100% against the death penalty and the state are murdering people and they dont care about human rights they take a human into a dirty room and kill them they think playing god is fun god created all live on earth and god is the only one who can end all live on earth not the death penalty so its not justice is MURDER the people who support the death penalty are 150% not human

  • @VampiresBiteHard666 i like how u do not respond to the comment i made about how u were like "the nazis did this" or some bullshit like that. i kinda knew you were some bible humping nut job who like " the lord told me to jump off a bridge so i will do it" can u stop trying to force your beliefs on to me say " oh i think death plenty is bad for such and such reason" dont be like " you are a Nazi inhumane bastard for believing in this ungodly way the government is having a genocide

  • @Mich199999 Capital Punishment isn't genocide moron. Genocide would be trying to wipe out an entire race, religion, ethnic group, etc. This is removing the worst of society. These motherfuckers are murderers, rapists, physchopaths, etc. There is no reason to let them live, and there is no reason to waste money on them for the rest of there life when you can stop them for 75-200 dollars(injection) or 20 cents(a bullet) or spend 20000+ a year for the rest of there life.

  • @PissingPeopleOff1 i was responding to the vampire assholes comment. i do believe in the death penalty and i mentioned genocide because the same asshole said that this practice wad done by the nazis in WWII

and that set me off so i agrees completely for hat u said (capital punishment) and dont call someone a moron if u respond to one comment look at other comments i made okay dumbass and i was mocking that guy in this comment

  • @PissingPeopleOff1 if u add in all the appeals, how long the DP takes in to effect, more appeals, then the DP is more expensive than life in prison. Oh, and dont forget about court cost, a DP case is worth a hell of a lot more than a regular one, and there is more than one. one for the crime, and the other for the death penatly.

  • @PissingPeopleOff1 I think you forget the cost of a trial in death penalty cases it can cost as much as 3 million to convict them versus around 700,000 to 1 million if its not a death penalty case

  • @alanheath the death peanalty is jus revenge, and revenge is never the answer, and you cant ever be 100 percent sure that the person was guilty or not and who are we to say who lives and who dies

  • I just don't understand why these death row inmates, don't try to kill these guards who come to kill them? Specially if your innocent. Fuck that, fight for life, until it slips away from you. The United States legal system is blind to the innocent people of the world. You know the system has major flaws yet you continue to murder people(innocent people). FIGHT PEOPLE, whats the worst thing that could happen to you, get murdered anyways.

  • Where was that "negro" in the Whitehouse, when Troy Davis needed him? I bet if Troy Davis was a white man, Obama would have said something. Obama is "impersonating" a black man. He is truly white, and he acts like a "sociopath", -- a man without a conscience, and an anti-Christ.

Georgia: The state of Georgia has a long history of "lynching" Black men...during slavery, and also in the year of 2011.

Also, most of these judges and prosecutors are Zionist Jews. Jews are evil. Thank you Hitler.

  • @MsPamAnn wow your so racist

  • @MsPamAnn I am sorry but you must be a troll or just the most ignorant and racist person I have ever heard... I really hope you don't live in America because it obviously isn't the place for you....

  • This fuckin gorilla ass lookin Negro must hate his job

  • These animals don't deserve a last meal! -.-

  • @jadyqg12511 what happens if the so called animal is innocent and, our fucked up legal system failed him or her? then what?

  • You guys are idiots.. It costs more money to kill someone instead of keeping them alive, not to mention the chance of killing a innocent person.

Only god can choose who is supposed to die, not people

  • lmao @ people who commit murders and have to go through this. i know they be thinking about freedom like a mugg when they are going through this procedure. shouldnt have killed nobody.

  • how often does executions happen at this facility for example?

  • i say send these people to iraq as suicide bombers

  • @MrBurberryMan Great idea.

  • the yanks call themselves the greatest democracy on earth.....man you have too many enemies around the world,,,,,i do not think your country will still be around in a 50 years time.

  • @fuck192ass die of AIDS fucking asshole suck my dick

  • So after waiting for 20 yrs of finding the possibility of who shot the officer, they couldn't give Troy another Year of making sure it is him they want to kill in return? "America, the freedom country, think twice about how free your country really is & more better off than the rest of the world , how supposedly happier & luckier you are" as they always remind you, believe me when i say this, asides from this being about troys case, The rest of the world sleeps better than you are told. (~_~)

  • DISGUSTING. America is the last first-world country to allow the state to put people to death, and it is beyond barbaric. All humanity is stripped of prisoners as is; can you imagine waiting for 10-20 years to on death row, and then when the day arrives, actually KNOW that you are going to die at a specific time? It is psychological torture, and so long as ONE INNOCENT PERSON risks being put to death, the system MUST ABOLISH CAPITAL PUNISHMENT.

  • @LBEAR121 I support capital punishment, but only in cases where the crime is especially horrid, and the evidence is overwhelming. Large amounts of physical evidence and credible witnesses. In those cases, I fully support it. That's basically how California has done it. Texas will strap anyone in.

  • @Droogie128 thats why texas haveifornia high murder rates

  • @Droogie128 Beyond thinking about the cost, morality and accuracy of the death penalty... do you think that our government should have the power to decide (arbitrarily) who does and doesn't live? I think that's too much power for citizens to hand over.

  • @LBEAR121 I am with you ALL THE WAY 4 people were put to death and the prosecutor KNEW

    they were innocent!

  • @LBEAR121 put your mind on this, did that murderer give his victim(s) a second chance? no and if we let them stay alive then taxpayers have to pay to have them fed 3 times a day, it contributes to overcrowding, and lastly there is no justice served and closure for the victim's family. Responsibility is paying for your actions, it doesn't matter if the criminal is sorry after they killed, at the end of the day some innocent civilian lost their life to a reckless heartless person.

  • @LBEAR121 Why don't you save your anger for the VICTIMS of these criminals crimes. Why are you so interested in describing the punishment of the GUILTY as barbaric. What I find disgusting is that the victims do not matter, the only thing of any importance is the criminals. Perhaps you would be happier if murderers, rapists, violent criminals were given a luxury flat by the seaside with a large sum of money each year to go out and enjoy themselves.

  • @LBEAR121 RIGHT !!! THE MOST HORRIBLE THING IS WAITING TOO MUCH TIME .....MAYBE IT'S WORST THAN DEATH ITSELF. ONLY GOD GIVES AND TAKES THE LIFE..... NEITHER NATIONS , GOVERNS OR INSTITUTIONS HAVE THE RIGHT TO DO THIS.

  • @LBEAR121 - What about the humanity of the victims?

Personally if people are found guilty of heinous crimes such the murder of James Byrd or the Petit Home Invasions, they deserve to die. For what purpose should they be allowed to exist? They will be locked in a jail, where we have to feed, cloth and house them. They will never get out and contribute to society. I

  • @LBEAR121 ur mum got killed , you want that killer killed?

  • @LBEAR121 i completely agree. i wolud rather live in pain than not live at all

  • @LBEAR121

I would prefer to be put on death row if I killed someone (which i will not). Murder is so bad!

People need to control themselfs. I can't do anything to change or bring back the person. I deserve to die. I deserve the same punishment as the victim (RIP DEATH) In my eyes

  • @LBEAR121

and imagine the psychological torture of the victims family. Imagine if some sick fuck murdered and raped your 3 year old daughter.

Everyone is going to support death. I would support the guillotine (YOU BE SICK, YOU DIE SICK)

  • @LBEAR121 The death penalty is perfectly fine. The killer put a price on his own life the moment he pulled the trigger.

  • @LBEAR121

That's why were the most powerful and scientifically advanced country in the world, because we're so 'barbaric'. So you'd be okay then with a man who rapes and kills little girls to be locked up with three square meals a day and a warm place to sleep at night for the rest of his life? That's hardly justice.

  • @WillisTron so your telling me killing people isnt murder THAT JUST CREATES MORE VIOLENCE SAY SOMEONE IS DEAD OR WAS MURDERED AND IF YOU GIVE THE MURDERER A DEATH PENALTY THEN U JUST HAD 2 DEATHS

  • @WillisTron I am not comfortable with our highly ineffective justice system, which is rife with racism, inaccuracies, and agendas that oppose the rights of the people, playing god and deciding who deserves to live. Everybody who is so against my comment is viewing the issue of capital punishment through a most simplistic lens; did you know if costs more to kill somebody than have them serve out life without parole? what benefit is there besides this perverse idea of "justice" of which you speak?

  • @LBEAR121

You just confirmed to me you don't know what you're talking about - it costs more to kill someone than to have them serve a life sentence?? This is absolutely false, my dad is a police officer and I was a criminal justice major until I switched it to education just last semester, I can assure you it keeping someone alive and feed for a life sentence costs more, please search this at any credible source (LIBRARY).

  • @WillisTron The appeals process one goes through on death row is paid for by the taxpayers, so yes indeed, it costs more in total to go through the appeals process and finally kill someone than it would to have them serve life. I suggest YOU do your research. Your father being a police officer does not make him an expert on anything, especially legal procedures, although I'm sure he believes he knows, given the bravado/god-complex of too many law enforcement persons. Think for yourself.

  • @WillisTron I've done extensive research on the topic; your studying criminal justice does not phase me in the least. Learn about the appeals process, the differences between a death penalty trial vs. non-capital trial, and the REAL cost of capital punishment- google "capital punishment costs more than life imprisonment" for literally THOUSANDS of sources.

  • @LBEAR121 If they are going to do nothing but sit in a cage and breathe, waste our air and tax money, then what doesn't give us the right to kill them? We only have a set amount of Oxygen on this planet, and in my opinion if we kill these people now the longer we have to live on this planet.

  • @LBEAR121 thats why they have DNA testing.

  • @LBEAR121 So if someone raped and killed your mother, and there was enough evidence to prove the person was guilty, you would say no to them having the death penalty? Biased opinions

  • @mariahandchristina I wouldn't advocate their being put to death; life without parole, which may be even MORE barbaric than capital punishment, would suffice. In actuality, many families who have had loved ones murdered have opposed the death penalty for the perpetrator. Putting someone to death will not bring back anybody- all is does is give the government the right to sanction murder, which makes them no better than a street thug.

  • @LBEAR121 fuck u "abolish capital punishment" i will never wish this on to any person but if something were to happen to your family or love ones and the murder guy is convicted you will be screaming to have his head on a pike so dont lie to your self and these people i may be blunt but i belive in "an eye for an eye" you comit murder you should die i dont want to have my taxes pay for you to have penny scoail with rapist while i have to work for a living

  • @Mich199999 What an articulate argument! Actually, I live in New York, which has not practiced Capital Punishment since 1963, so whether I would "be screaming to have his head on a pike" is moot. How can I argue with a succinct argument that begins with "fuck u [sic]"? Read a book. Or several.

  • @LBEAR121 i to live in new york they should use the death penalty like texas. i do read books on a regulaer basis. i was mad thats why i said "fuck u" you started you message with "DISCUSTING" you dont have to degrade someones beliefs cause they dont fit your bible humping church way you jackass so before u message grow a brain cell or several

  • @Mich199999 *DISGUSTING is the word I think you were attempting to spell. And, um, I'm a Buddhist. The fervently religious are most likely to support capital punishment. Please, I beg of you, try not to procreate.

  • @LBEAR121 okay just say your a buddist but your not a friendly one and dont look down on someone if they dont have the same beliefs as you i believe in the death penalty and u are calling me filth pretty much. and i will procreate kids have different minds then there parents but might have the same eye/ hair color i doubt you would about genetics you dumbass please grow a few brains cells please and do the world a favor and stop stealing my oxygen

  • @LBEAR121 You got it wrong...

Death penalties are very good... With very few negatives.

I agree that the length of time is a bit much and a waste of money on entertainment, housing, clothing, and food that is given to these criminals paid by the victims tax $.

The length between sentencing and death has many factors one being that if the person was unjustly convicted have time to either wait for new DNA technology (example) or have time to make a new case and appeal the sentence.

  • @LBEAR121

The death penalty is bad in only one area. Sometimes the wrong guy gets pwnd. Which is rare but has probly happened from time to time.

Other than that I cant see a bad thing to the death penalty. Its usually for something like murder which is simply an equal outcome as a victim.

I dont live in a country with capital punishment but I really wish we had it. Its a good thing to have. Murderers for example dont have any right to live. Not in my opinion. Speak to a victim's family member

  • @LBEAR121 You may just change your opinions a bit.

The death penalty IMO is not humans playing god but simply a rule.

Everyone knows if you live in an area that has capital punishment and you do a crime (example: murder) there is a chance they can be sent to death. So by the criminal breaking that law they take full responsibility and understand fully that they may be put to death.

  • what is the benefit of killing someone if they were convicted of a crime, they should suffer in jail, your doing nothing by killing them your just saving them from the pain of being locked up forever. im appalled.

  • @pitbullqueen07 costs to much money.

  • rip mark - justice

  • Great Thunder

I thank you for your comment.I am just not in favor of the death penalty .

It is a out dated system that cost millions of dollars in appeals

When the prosecutors and court ARE wrong and MURDER a innocent person the family has to wait YEARS to get anything out of the state. The state WILL drag its heals before it will admit it made a mistake.Watch the movie I WANT TO LIVE

A woman is executed in the gas chamber in the 50s and it takes Pres Jimmy Carter in the 70s to exonerate her

  • @philipme109 You do realize that, that is a fictionalized account of the events and not truthful.

  • @uniquesongstress That woman DID LIVE and it is not fictional President Cater did exonerate with a

FULL Presidential pardon Her living sister was paid a settlement by the state that executed her sister

You are WRONG with your facts I studied this case and looked her up on the internet

  • I do believe in the death penalty to a point.Get executed within 2 yrs not 10 to 20 yrs later. That's the same as muder.

  • Consider INNOCENT people who have been executed,What about them?

Does the courts and the state say OOPS SORRY ABOUT THAT to the family of the executed?

There is a state where the prosecutors knowing with held evidence and allowed INNOCENT men be killed.Dam them for this

  • @philipme109 You have a point, but how about innocent people that spend 20 years in prison? you can't give that back, does that mean we should cancel the prison system?

The justice system will never be perfect, and that prosecutor should pay the price for what he did, but pieces of shit (excuse my language) like the guy that sadomised a girl with a broom and then bashed her head with a cinder block should be executed, and even that is too good for them...

  • I'm highly suspicious of his lack of cooperation with the question, "Are there doctors present"? I feel like he was trying to hide something and it makes me concerned that there is a lot of unethical business going on behind closed doors, and a lot of people being tortured as they die. Does anyone have thoughts on this?

  • I just watched his next statement about there being a doctor available, but still, his first reaction the guy doesn't sit well.

  • Haven't any of you commenters (pro or anti) considered that for crimes that would merit execution, to instead sentence them to no less than exactly 100 years in a supermax prison, with absolutely no chance to get out early. All are satisfied, for the victims: even better punishment as you are not putting the perp out of his misery, for the innocent: more of an opportunity to release and compensated if wrongfully convicted, and their is no liability as death would come from purely natural causes

  • As Britain infamous hangman Albert Pierrepoint said:

"This man has paid the price, what ever the quarrel it is over now, he is innocent."

  • i am for europe, and we shoud put back the d penalty...too many asshole like the one in norway who will get out jail after 8 years after kiiling 77 teenegers???

I mean com on, hang this bastard in a public place so he will be punish by god and send to hell.

  • @swisspilot2000 I agree with you that people like him should never get out after 7 or 8 years. Thay shold stay in prison for the rest of their lives. But I can't agree that there should be death penalty cause that's it is completely stupid to say " You killed 77 teens so we will kill you". How can you punish someone that killed by killing him?! Are we saying that after after all murder should be legal? Off course we can't do that.

  • @almadonorte

    I agree!

  • @fuck192ass Don't get upset with the world just because your toothless sister refused your hand in marriage and married your alcoholic bum Uncle Bubba instead, you inbred mule.

  • why we fell sorry for them they did not care about us when the grab a gun and start shooting we do that because god said so and for the victims

  • god said in the quran who ever kills he should be put to death

  • so If someone kills a little child and he gets caught... he will be lying in a bed and he would feel no pain and he will die... but how about the person that he has killed.poor child may have been rapped and stabbed a few times and felt all the pain in the world .. thats not fair t me... If it was up to me i would have put him in a jail cell .. where he could have a view of the outside world through a 2 inch by 2 inch whole and I would tie him up feed him and let him, shit his pants til he dies

  • Regardless what people may think the executioners having no connection the murderer or victoms are sanctioned by the state to commit murder? How is this possible?

  • @womo1975 Because the killers took a innocent human life that was defenseless. Thats why.

  • @mountainstandardtime No that still doesn't give any executioner the right to take a life. What ever happened to an eye for an eye tooth for a tooth?
