I suppose that's one way of doing it, but you showed pretty much the longest hardest way. A short simple way to do the exact same thing is to click animatino timeline at the bottom instead of frames, choose your text, go to the opacity tab and set a keyframe on the timeline that changes opacity to zero.
Just a little FYI at 1:35 it's OPACITY *not* OCCUPANCY!!!!
opacity [oh-pas-i-tee] * the degree of which something is opaque

he alreaady opened a lot of things without explaining how to open them....
I prefer u close the entire adobe photoshop program before starting the vid
