  • bon rythme pour un solo :)

  • wich ten sax i s this ? roxy italy

  • The tenor sax is a B&S TS 249 Antoine Courtois Paris (Medusa-Stencil). B&S has been a german woodwind manufactorer.

  • haa ok thanks... and do yousell it maybe ?? Roxy

  • i don't think it sounds very good.

  • nice sound!!!

  • how do you get vibrado? im in mid skul 6th- 7th and wonderin how to do it. i can even get it distorted! but can't get vibrado........

  • The clip is nearly two years old. I think, in 2007 I could not really play any vibrato. So I wonder why you`re asking. Maybe you want to know how to produce this rough tone called growling? Just buzz and hum into the saxophone while playing and you`ll get that rough tone ...

  • Nice!

    What make is your tenor?

You like it better than your link?

There is a Zinner on CL in Seattle for $95.

I am buying it after hearing this.

    Thanks!

  • Thanks, too.

The tenor sax is a B&S TS 249 Antoine Courtois Paris (Medusa).

    Have fun with your Zinner!

  • it is unique.

i am still trying to get used to it.

Seems kind of brassy but it is probably my average horn.

Wish i had my old Selmer Mk. VI...

    Best,

    Gunny

  • learn how to properly do vibrato. and get a link. zinners suck.

  • There are some other users, who critized my vibrato. I'm now practicing to optimate it. I Thank you for your information.

I got a Link STM, too. But I prefer the Zinner. It is one of the few, that got a wider inner space. A Link NY is so much more expencive and I don't like that cold metal ...

  • what Tenor Sax Mouthpiece do play this video?

    thanks

    celso soares

  • I'm playing a Zinner TS-78-6. It's a german handcrafted mouthpiece.

  • awesome!

  • Thanks for the SMILE :D

  • ugh...the tenor killed me in high school...I should have stuck to the alto. But, man you can play some mean tunes!

  • I play the alto now

  • tenor sax is awasome even though its like twice as big as me. i think ill stick to saprano

  • Good decision, Bunny. Does that mean you'll finally dedicate yourself to learning how to spell it?

  • tone is good

  • try to control ur vibrato more it just sounds like ur quivering u lip really fast. the lips bends sound good tho, like goin up to half steps from the m7 to the root at 1:43. listen to all too soon by duke ellington on ko-ko. solo's so good.

  • Very cool! How long you been playing?

  • Thank you. I started to play Alto saxophone six years ago and changed to the Tenor sax nearly three years ago.

  • Thats a killer sound.

  • for the 50's era, yes
