My uncle got in an argument with his wife. She decided to hit him in the back repeatedly with a chair. He's had chronic back pain since college because of a weight lifting accident. As a result of her actions he has to constantly get shots in his back now and go through extensive physical therapy. Also because he pushed her away in self defense he was jailed for a week when his wife reported to the police that she had been physically abused. The police didn't believe my uncle's side of the story

No matter how much feminists try to deny it, men are naturally stronger than women. It's a man's biological function to do the hunting and gathering. It's the woman's biological function to bear children and take care of them.
Now, modern society can change these things, as we have dulled down a lot of instincts we were born with, but our base instincts tell us that a man poses a threat, whereas a woman does not. Which is normally absolutely true.

It's not right, but let's be realistic here. A man could kill a woman with his bare hands. In the man abusing a woman scenario, the man was more threatening and the woman crying and afraid. In the reverse scenario, the women were crazy and childish and the men were calm. Neither situation is okay, but the fact is a man CAN defend himself if he wanted and therefore people don't intervene. However, a woman usually can't defend herself and that's why people would help her instead.

An abusive woman could easily find a thousand ways to make a man's size advantage irrelevant. In fact, most women who kill use poison, because it is easy to come by and the size/strength of the victim doesn't affect its usefulness.
