The difference is usually intent. The fake SS numbers are used to pay money into a system. Cops usually differentiate between suspended and fake IDs. Invalid is invalid, and the person presenting a false ID goes to jail.

Illegal Immigration is Mexico's second biggest source of revenue which is why they don't discourage people sneaking across the border in fact they have agencies that give advice on how to get away with it. Real Estate was another big impact for the economy but Illegal immigration has been over the years adding up with billions each year in welfare, free healthcare (which I as a legal citizen do not get), and education in any language of their choosing. Healthcare is a problem independent of illegal immigration and not because of it. I will agree with you that the welfare system should only be available to citizens or legal permanent residents, but I will disagree about refusing a public education because 1) they already pay into it with property taxes and 2) it is a basic human right. You're right. Illegal is illegal. The problem is that it's not cost effective to send them all packing. We need to crack down on companies that hire illegals and make it difficult for them to have a way of life here. This means no driver's licenses, no ability to rent/own property, etc. By doing this, they will eventually leave on their own. If you do not verify ID then you have no way of knowing who is here legally or not. Secondly you need to read about your "anchor baby" claim. There is no law that says that having a child here guarantees the parents residency. The law states that the child has to be 21 before sponsoring his parents, and even then the parents have to be in good standing.

Issuing a visa, immigrant or non-immigrant, lies solely on the whim of the visa officer and not on the qualifications of the petitioner. While it's understandable that ultimately the decision lies with the US government, the decisions should not be so arbitrary.

The difference is usually intent. The fake SS numbers are used to pay money into a system. Cops usually differentiate between suspended and fake IDs. Invalid is invalid, and the person presenting a false ID goes to jail.

Illegal Immigration is Mexico's second biggest source of revenue which is why they don't discourage people sneaking across the border in fact they have agencies that give advice on how to get away with it. They are one of the biggest causes of the economic downturn if not the main cause.

I will agree with you that the welfare system should only be available to citizens or legal permanent residents, but I will disagree about refusing a public education because 1) they already pay into it with property taxes and 2) it is a basic human right. I wouldn't say you get more perks. A life of an illegal immigrant isn't something that I wouldn't want.

We need to crack down on companies that hire illegals and make it difficult for them to have a way of life here. This means no driver's licenses, no ability to rent/own property, etc. By doing this, they will eventually leave on their own. After this we penalize countries that rather send their poor here than help them.

There is no law that says that having a child here guarantees the parents residency. The law states that the child has to be 21 before sponsoring his parents, and even then the parents have to be in good standing.

I know of an undocumented worker whose net worth is over a million $ and has a business and I also know of some documented workers who work for a little more than the minimum wage. Who is more likely to help the economy? Logic should tell you that the one with more disposable income will spend more.

The documentation is needed when you work for someone else. That is why there is outrage when 'undocumented immigrants' get jobs, not work for themselves. Besides, the governments even wants to tax anyone who makes money from selling drugs. WHY?? That's what the Tax Code says: tax the income no matter how it was derived.

My comment : They DO have to pay sales tax they however , DON'T have to pay INCOME TAX . Everyone is taxed on purchases because you pay the tax upon purchasing the item . If an illegal Mexican went to buy a cheeseburger from MC Donald's they are going to include the sales tax with their total .

If you are getting hired under the table NO TAXES the employer doesn't even let the IRS know you are working for them .

2) Agreed. They pay sales and property taxes.
3) Many illegals get false or borrowed social security numbers. This means they pay into the system but get nothing back. Not all illegals get paid cash.
4) Tax fraud is a different crime entirely which would fall on the shoulders of the employer

The problem with your logic is that illegals who rent or own any property pay property taxes which is allocated by the state to pay for the education system. Issuing a visa, immigrant or non-immigrant, lies solely on the whim of the visa officer and not on the qualifications of the petitioner. While it's understandable that ultimately the decision lies with the US government, the decisions should not be so arbitrary.
