  • I'm crying my eyes out listening to this because you have said everything for my son who has Autism. Thank you for such a powerful song. God Bless you

  • Thank you so much, each and every one of you, for your responses to our song and video! My daughter Kristy is 27 now, and has profound autism. Although she has little speech, she has been my greatest teacher, and I thank God for the gift she is in my life, even though it has never been "easy" to be her mom. But I love her beyond words, and the song "I'm In Here" is an expression of that love, and of the love BJ has for his young son Rylie, who is also on the spectrum. God Bless!

  • I love you so much for this. Really made me cry. My beloved son Gavin has AS. He's so wonderful, but not everyone can see how awesome and amazing he is. I have 3 children, and I have to say, he has opened my eyes and heart more. Taught me to listen, to really hear, to see, and to feel deeper than I thought I ever could. He's my very favorite Gavin, as I always tell him. My Gavin Awesome-pants (as he call himself). <3

  • Keep at it Mothers & Fathers your tears are heard & seen by many. Also check out our Documentary Called Animating Autism..

  • Thank you for sharing this music video. The lyrics to the song are fantastic, and naturally as a mother of twins with one having autism, I shed tears..because it hits home.

  • thank you i have asperger's and it is a struggle for me

  • my little brother has autism and every time i hear this song i start to cry

  • 21 people just dont have a heart. I take care of 3 autistic teenage boys. 1 of which is very violent and probably will be sent to a home ;( it truly breaks my heart....I love them with all my heart as if they were my brothers. I wish one day for a miracle to happen and they will be able to just talk and speak their feelings aloud.... man.... ;(

  • LORD I KNOW I AM CRYING WHEN I SEE THIS VIDEO TOUCHES MY HEART AS WELL AS ALL THE PEOPLE MAKING COMMENTS ABOUT THIS VIDEO , I ALSO HAVE A SON WITH AUTISM I KNOW SOMETIMES IT'S HARD TO STILL BELIEVE THAT THERE IS HOPE BUT FOR SOME REASON INSTEAD OF ASKING YOU WHY? JESUS I AM HERE PRAYING FOR MY SON AND ALL KIDS WITH AUTISM AND TO TELL YOU JESUS , I AM HERE AND I STILL BELIEVE IN YOU, NO MATTER WHAT I AM STILL WAITING FOR YOU TO MAKE AUTISM GO AWAY, PLEASE JESUS HELP US.

  • my son has autism. he is on the moderate side of autism. he is the most beautiful sweet child, even though he cant voice his words, i feel them in his smile. i kills me to know that people judge him and think hes dumb.in actuality hes probaly smarter than them, i love my sweet pat-pat!!

  • omg my lil boy is 3yrs and as autism this is soo true

  • I have three brothers with Autism...This song is amazing, people just need to realize that everyones a little different, that these kids and adults are amazing people, they just can't talk or act like us, but inside they have a lot to say...

  • my son is on the spectrum! Let the world see what they see.

  • im autistic but only just got diagnosed but i all ways felt different to other people in some way and acted different

  • "I'm in here", a touching song that should bring awareness to so many..

  • I always told my DS/autistic son, there is nothing wrong with you, just the rest of the world. He believes this, and is very kind to everyone

  • iv got full Autism (HFA)

  • ive been asperger scince i was a baby and 3rd grade i was rejected i had no friends and i cried at night cause of this i became a bad boy i got into fights and then i got to 9th grade i got more friends since then and i feel better now gods on my side!

  • I have autism (as my screen name says.) More specifically aspergers syndrome. I have found that autism has way more benefits than set backs. Yes we tend to be socially awkward but tons of us wacked out geniuses. Also one major problem in the whole concept of a cure for autism ( you can get better at having it im living proof) is that we are dealing with a condition that effects the mind. How does one distinguish between where autism ends and the person begins?

  • @TheAutisticGuitarist I too am a musician/singer/songwriter, I have AS. I wrote 4 autism awareness songs, you can find some under healthmusic account.

  • I am a 38 year old just diagnosed with aspergers, I went back to college two years ago. I didnt talk till I was three and needed help with gross motor and speech for years I was diagnosed with a lot of things, I cried when I found out about aspergers because I finally knew what was different about me. this song touched me because its right we may not always know what to say or how to act but we are in there somewhere.

  • I have two beautiful boys who both have Aspergers. This song is very beautiful, and speaks many volumes to me. Thank you for posting this beautiful song.

  • im autistic its frusterstratingcauswe uu want to epress what ppple but if feel lieke most peopploe dont getm me and i m not nomal somtimes so this vidio means a lot to me

  • im autistic

  • Huh. I wonder if I have it.

  • Thank you both, for giving my 4 year old grandson, Parker, a voice. He has a beautiful spirit and not enough awareness is available to the public. I will send this to my local radio stations in Quebec, Canada!

Please continue to write your beautiful songs and god bless you and your "gifts from God", who I believe gave them to us for a very special reason!

  • I love this song. It brought me to tears. My 10 year old Hayden is Autistic. It hits home.

  • This song made me cry because my son has autism and this song is so very true. I love it and thank you for making it so that others may understand in some very small way.

  • My son is Autistic. Everyday is a battle and my sons teacher is amazing she owns a dance studio and they all wore blue and dance to this song my son and his other friend who is autistic were the guest of honor. This song really tells a lot. Not enough people know about autism. its hard but i know one day both our families are hoping we get the chance to share the joy of solving the puzzle. Mommy Loves you baby boy..

  • I am a single parent with two children with autism that I raise completely on my own with no family or their daddy around I pray that more awareness and caring and understanding people could be in our shoes and stop making this harder for us than it is. Please pray for us because these low income housing authority people don't .

  • my youngest brother (i'm the oldest of four) has autism and this song literally sent a chill down my spine. it is indeed VERY hard to live with a child that is severely autistic, nonverbal, and developmentally delayed, but he tries SO hard to make everyone happy, even if he is upset himself. i just wish the rest of the world could take a page out of an autistic kindergardner's book, so to speak.

  • 17 dislikes?!?! really? thats ignorance for you.......

  • this video really hits home for me. i have a blessing of a cousin who has autism. it really kills me to think about how hard it is for him. he's 5 years old, but can't talk. most people are not aware of autism and i think it's time to really bring this problem to light. i break down in tears every time i hear this song...which so far has been 3. i am only 14, so there's not much i can do to help, but i am doing all i can. this is amazing. thank you!

  • my little cousin who is 5 years old has autism. i am 14 years old and i try to make him always as happy a's possible. every time I hear this song, this amazing song, i break down in tears. life must be so hard for him. thank you for this song.

  • @jjellybbeannxxo my little cousin is the same he's loves ICT and is smart he's nearly 5 but has only ever said one thing

  • nice work im ASD and i love the song

  • I saw this video at an Autism Forum at Fresno Pacific University on Feb 4th (my autistic son's 4th birthday). Thank you for sharing this with us. I constantly tell my son "I know you're in there". I feel like he knows that I know, and that gives me hope.

  • I seriously love this song so much, but I can't listen to it. It really brings the tears.

  • @RUSSKAYAG Um..No. My child is not autistic because I have issues in my subconscious. His father has Aspergers. If he was picking up on my underlying issues, he wouldn't be the happy ray of light that he is. Way to blame the mother though, Its always nice to hear my son has Autism because I didn't love him enough.

  • MY LIL BROTHER IS 6 AND HES GOT AUTISM AND HE SAYS U KNOW LIKE WORDS U CANT UNDERSTAND BUT I ,LOVE HIM SO MUCH

  • my sister is fifteen months older than me and "autistic", it's only a word tht defines her but to me, she's just katie :) I wouldn't change her for the world, even though she is a big pain in the butt...

  • @withingrasp2012 this is beautiful. My little man who is 6 is in there too and one day we will free him from autism

  • Thanks from another Mommy with a child on the spectrum... This song brought me to tears.

  • i was just disnosed with aspregers not long ago and adhd i am almost 25 years old growing up no one knew i had it cause it was not much known about it when i was in school

  • My son has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder when he was only 3 years old, I cried for weeks. We found a very good school that teaches children with this diagnos. He is now 9 and life has changed because of this school my son is going to. Even when it stays hard on us, we can now see clearly.

This song touched me in the deepest of my heart. I only wish there were more things like this so the world would know that people with autism are not bad people or weirdo's as some would say.

  • @ezophe This song moved my heart for my niece, Chloe. What school did you find?

  • my son was diagnosed with Autism back in October of 2007, it has been three years since his diagnoses ..he was non-verbel then , he has regained his ability to speak but still struggles to communicate his thoughts and feelings to others..it is heartbreaking as a parent to watch my son struggle with communication that seems to come so easy for his peers..thanks for posting..Godbless

  • my sister has autism... this is making me cry... :'(

  • Is there a place where I can order this song as cd singles?

  • I work with autistic kids everyday and this song really hits home!! :D

  • Thank you! 40 and finally diagnosed with Asperger, its been so hard to try to be "normal" for all these years, allways thinking how should I react to this?, how would other people respond?, did I handle the situation like other people would have done?, whats wrong with the way I think? Been playing a theaterplay constantly for 40 years, and sometimes i never learn to say the right lines..

So thank you for this song.... Im in here too...

  • @annekjerringa Wait isn't that normal?

  • This song breaks my heart everytime I hear it

  • I know Asher is in there and more and more lately he shows me more of himself. It can be so frustrating to him and us just wanting to know what he feels and what he wants. Someday he will be whole, and a better person for it; and along the way so will we.

  • My boy is in there and every day we see a little bit more. With the grace of God and Asher's determination someday he will be whole. Share this video to help support Autism.

  • Song That Needs to be played world wide it's hard to get it in australia for some reason radio stations don't want to play it

  • Excellent

  • I have 2 kids that suffer from autism one is very socialble and the other is very quiet and is alone alot . They both play foot ball one plays hockey one curls they very well respected for their accomplishmnets. If people would not be so ignorant towards autism and educate them selves on the epidemic they would understand what parents go through with kids with autism.

    Thanks

  • Just beautiful.. I have two children with Autism. One severe and one moderate.. Thank you...

  • I too am on the Autism spectrum. I have Aspergers.I am glad you made this song.I am a female, 58 and have only had one friend in my life.My grown kids had a terrible life as I also have Bipolar. Both were only diag. about 1 yr. ago. When they tried to talk to me I screamed...I couldn't relate.Like Mystic I was always made fun of & put in class rooms with"normal kids" and just sat there.

  • My family lives with autism everyday. This song totally hit me hard, what a beautiful song. Thank you!!!

  • Love this video, my grandson has Autism and i can relate to this song.

  • I think this song is wonderful it just shows so much the way people feel, I have aspergers and love to watch this video

  • BEAUTIFUL! So fitting. My oldest son is on the spectrum (Asperger's) and I have a cousin whose oldest son has Autistic Disorder. We can SO relate to this video. Thank you for sharing!

  • Loved it thank you my 5 year old has autism and somedays it so hard for him but everyday is a chalenge but i love him with all of my heart and soul agin thank you

  • My little boy falls into the autism spectrum disorder. It REALLY upsets me when people label him as dumb or stupid. I REALLY hate what he is going through! This is a good song and it does bring tears to my eyes. Knowing my son has no friends and probably never will, frustrates me. He is such a sweet little boy and wouldn't hurt a flea. However, he gets upset when no none understands what he is trying to say. I wish God would explain this to me....

  • @sumwear7 ..... I know what you mean....it is so frustrating for parents of our autistic angels, but I guess only we know what we go through on a daily basis...many people are uneducated about autism, including DOCTORS! We live in Ontario, Canada and are currently on a wait list for funding. The wait list is 3 to 4 years and if you don't have the funding for IBI, you are screwed! I really wish that our government would wake the F**** up and fund autism treatment now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @sumwear7 take him to a psychologist. thats what my parents did with me and now im almost totally nuerotypical.

  • Wow that was very touching. Tears streamed down my face, and I couldn't stop crying. My son has autism, and it sounds just like him. Thank you for this song.

  • I'm not really the emotional type of guy but have to admit, this video brought tears to my eyes. Outstanding song an video.

  • This is a great video with a very strong message I would like to know if it is possible to purchase a copy to use as a training tool for our staff as they work with autistic children in our center , it would be a great addition to our training program

  • It's hard to get this played on the radio. I live in Canada and have requested it a lot of times, but they never play it no matter what radio station... I hope others have had more luck than me.

  • This song rocks! I love my autistic brother :)

  • Thank you for this song. it is very fitting. I love my autistic son,

  • that was beautiful, bought tears to my eyes! thanku x

  • Thank you for this beautiful video!!!

  • Beautiful. I have a 9yo dtr on the spectrum....through the struggle and the pain, there is also the beauty that is she. Autism is the unique way of viewing the world that my daughter sees things....meeting in the middle is where you meet her.

  • Very nice. I'm on the spectrum, myself, so this song really says a lot to me. It's hard to express feelings and even identify them sometimes, let alone tell someone else about how I'm feeling. I'm not some weirdo, I'm not a robot, and though it's frustrating at times, I dun wanna be fixed cause it's also part of who I am. I wish people can step in my shoes for even just a second and understand. The song portrays that same feeling. Thanks for share'n it!

  • @MysticDragonX i agree i have classical autism and i cant goto school and i been through alot of abuse in my life and were i live they have no help or services for it

  • @MysticDragonX m,,you probably have something called "alexithymia", I learned this word after my son Daniel passed away a few months back. He had autism/asperger syndrome . He was who he was and I loved him dearly. Good luck .

  • @MysticDragonX i know that feel i am on the spectrum i have aspergers and not women my age have it or they have not been labled it but i am struggleing with adhd and a tic dislorder on top of that aspergers so i somtimes dont really know what i am feeling

  • All about autism here: watch?v=F5B596UxO2w

  • This song is very beautiful and it is so true. These kids need all our help to get the message out that it's not there fault they are the way they are. I makes me cry when people don't want to understand.

  • i have autism and it is so hard other kids do not understand me and it makes me so mad i get teased alkl the time and i just love this music bideo anthem for autism it is very beautiful and so inspiring.

  • I am a single parent with two kids on the spectrum and this song really talks to my heart. My wish is that the world at large starts accepting children with this condition. So often they are left at the curb with no way to have the fun that other kids do. That's just plain wrong.

  • 5 star and favorited! An Autism mom thanks you VERY much.

  • nice

  • good song and brings more awareness to those who do not understand our kids.

  • I love this video!! The part that gets me the hardest is the verse " I may not speak but my feelings are so clear." I have a beautiful niece with Autism as well as work with individuals with Autism. And whether they are verbal or nonverbal it is definately noticeable that they have feelings that they have trouble communicating! This song is so inspiring and a great way to educate the world that people with Autism are people with feelings and emotions as well they just have trouble communicating.

  • PERFACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How inspiring! Thank you for sharing such a gorgeous way to share the message about Autsim. It breaks my heart and offers hope at the same time.

  • i love this song it made me just start crying like a baby because i'm autistic and i i know how it feels and just to know people have taken the time to make this song and support us i feel grateful considred all those mean people who hate autistic kids because we act differently. thank you so much for putting this on here(:

  • What a beautiful voice and a beautiful song! Funny how music can transmit such beauty. Great job.

  • this is the most beautiful song that i have ever heard in my whole entire life.

  • As the mother of an adult challenged with autism, I think that this song is beautiful and represents our children with autism well. Thanks for using the gift that God gave you to create this video and song.

  • I have a younger brother with autism and this song is great. the part on this song that always makes me cry is: i might not speak but my feelings are so clear. i luuuv that part thank u for this beautiful song

  • nice job miss, Carla here. xo.

  • :) My Song

  • This is an amazing video and song. I put a message awhile ago on my phone to remind myself. The message read " maybe that's why you made her nonverbal, so that we would have to listen to what she had to say" and I think this speaks for every person out there that is affected by autism. These children of God are precious gifts and they should be protected and listened to even if they don't talk.

  • This is amazing - I'm surprised I haven't heard it yet! Anyways, love it!!!

The message is so true. I have two brothers with severe autism & I couldn't help but think of them while watching this ♥

  • Nice video and song.

    Just want to say :

As long as there are liquids like Thimerosal in vaccines and uninformed mothers and fathers there will be mercury poisoned brains and bodies walking on this planet.

  • I am a single parent with two kids on the spectrum and I could not be more proud of them. Sometimes I think no one understands what it is like for the kids and me even tho I know that's not true. This song makes me cry every time. Maybe we could get Delilah to play it on her show. Every station would play it if it was heard there. any other parents like me out there? Leave me a message:)

  • Please check out a great Children's book about Autism, PDD and ADHD called 'Why Is He Different?' (Please spread the word about this unique book, tell your friends and tell me what you think about it. Big thanks!!). You can preview it on youtube profile called Monalisaknew. Just copy and paste the following sentence in youtube search window: 'Why Is He Different? (Autism Book)'

You can also buy this book on AthsePublishing(dot)com. Thank You !!

  • can u pls tell me who sings this song and what the title is

  • thank you, for every time I listen to this one I cry even more, it helps getting all the pain , misunderstanding and sorrow out

  • beautiful.. made me cry

  • This is one of the most powerful songs and videos I have ever saw it had me and my Wife in tears...Are wee son has Autism and cannot talk much at all he gets so frustrated and hits out allot ..People often say it must be hard looking after some one with autism well if its hard for us whats it like for them that must be really really hard..I often think what is going on in my sons wee world but I think you would have to have autism to understand but even then you could not get it out..Thanks

  • Dear bestie..you are guys are doing a great job..only a special someone can take care of special people..=)

  • I will add this to my autism awareness playlist.

  • Beautiful song :)

Me and my big brother has Asbergers Syndrom and ADHD, and my mom and littlesister has ADHD. So i know how it feels.

  • tnx for the wonderful words in the song,my son who is 9 yrs old diagnose w/ aspergers this year and to listen w/ the song made me cry...again thank you

My son is 8 and has Aspergers.

  • my god it made me cry my nineteen year old was diagnoised with it in febuary up till then they considered her mentally retarded than when we ended up hositalizing her a dr asked if he could do test observations and question us than he came bask and told us she has aspergers

  • OMG! This is just touching! I'm watching it again, and am crying! I'm a proud mom to 2 autistic boys, and think they're perfect just the way they are! Thank you for such a beautiful song!!!!!

  • Great song!!! Thanks!

  • i am a mother of 5 boys all have adhd 1 aspergers mild adhd 2 adhd odd 3 adhd dyspraxia conduct dissorder 4 adhd 5 dyslexia and i myself have just been diagnosed with adult adhd i understan alot of you and this song made me cry

  • i love the song and meaning... i am a mother of a 2 year old autistic boy and am trying all sorts of new things to help him recover from autism.... you cannot cure autism but you can recover from it... lots of love to all autistic children and adults and to the parents who stuck buy them the entire time..

  • i love this song it makes me cry and think of my beautiful nephew gabes i love you mijo i dedicate this song to you

  • Great song I couldnt say it any better... perfect words....thank you from someone who sees this on a daily basis..

  • I am a mom of 2 autistic boys, ages 5 and 7 and I feel very priviledged that they have allowed me to be a part of their world. They remind me every day how special they are.

  • Thank you for this. My son has Autism ...I wish I could be in his mind for 1 day, to see the world through his eyes. He shouldn't have to adapt to our world, we should be doing everything we can to adapt to an Autistic World. Sometimes it can be frustrating, but sometimes, it seems like he gets more joy out of life than a "typical" kid. He doesn't feel the pressure to dress like them or have all the latest toys. He is happy just being him. I love you Caleb !!!!!!! My little man.

  • I agree. Sometimes families who are quite retiring might try to stop their autistic son or daughter from skipping, singing on buses, wearing cat ears in public, talking to themselves (which is surprisingly common), rocking back and forth etc, because they don't like to see people do anything that is unusual or not typical of their age group (whereas I'd like to meet more of these eccentrics)! I’m not fond of that aloof sort of disposition. But you seem like one of the nicest neurotypicals!

  • Wonderful song! Speaks volumes!

    Thank-you :)

  • im autistic,

and the only thing i do is skate

i dont make relationships with people

    so im all alone :S

  • You are never ever alone. There are many thousands just like you. Two of them live with me. They are my sons. And although they may spend a lot of time alone, they always carry me with them.

  • I'm a Proud Autistic , I just hope people understand how to treat us ,Beautiful song<3

  • this son reminds me of my sweet angel baby donnie and it is so hard because he does not talk but in his own way i know he love me and he show it yet it is hard

  • This is so true the 4yr old i take care of...very much relates to this song...it really breaks my heart everyday to know that he is in there but he cant really tell me what he wants...needs or dreams...its so hard sometimes...but one thing is for sure...We need to give these kids answers instead of ideas or theories. Treatments and cures instead of trial and error...

  • Listen to Jenny McCarthy. She says you can help a child with autism to come out. She's seen it and so have i with my niece.
