I personally think that this is just a training exercise to fight off attack forces on our own ground (Invasion). This isn't conditioning for martial law. National Guard will not allow such a thing. I sure wouldn't. But there is a bit a weirdness going on. Example: US military taking all of National Guard tanks away from some states and putting them all in one place in one state. Now that is weird. Putting all of our tanks in one spot makes it one hell of a target.

@RamboVital Understanding some things about the military is we own a lot of land and sometimes it does have to do with which service you are in. A CAX in 29 Palms cannot really measure up to rotations at Irwin or Ft Polk, LA which do have urban environments built into both places On theother hand, Marines from 29 Palms will do this sort of training in Victorville, CA for the simple fact we have not been able to sell George AFB and they use it for urban training.

i dont think this is martial law, i think they are preparing to be invaded. I'm sure the government is just not telling people that, just to prevent panic. Its not uncommon for the military in many countries to train the the cities. Yea plenty of nutjobs are gonna think they're prepping for martial law, but its really just giving our marines valuable training. The french Army and FFL do the same thing, often training the the cities and towns near their bases, its provides good, realistic training to prepare them for war. I mean they're going to be fighting in a city anyway, it wouldnt make sense to train in the woods on base.

I was in the Marines in the 90's and they were training us for Martial Law "Nonlethal Weapons Training" and believe me, you civilians don't stand an iota of a chance!

I personally think that this is just a training exercise to fight off attack forces on our own ground (Invasion). This isn't conditioning for martial law. National Guard will not allow such a thing. I sure wouldn't. But there is a bit a weirdness going on. Example: US military taking all of National Guard tanks away from some states and putting them all in one place in one state. Now that is weird. Putting all of our tanks in one spot makes it one hell of a target.

@RamboVital Understanding some things about the military is we own a lot of land and sometimes it does have to do with which service you are in. A CAX in 29 Palms cannot really measure up to rotations at Irwin or Ft Polk, LA which do have urban environments built into both places On theother hand, Marines from 29 Palms will do this sort of training in Victorville, CA for the simple fact we have not been able to sell George AFB and they use it for urban training.

i dont think this is martial law, i think they are preparing to be invaded. I'm sure the government is just not telling people that, just to prevent panic. Or, they could be telling the truth and training for urban combat overseas, but it does not make any sense to be doing this NOW. Who knows what it really is about. Its not uncommon for the military in many countries to train the the cities. Yea plenty of nutjobs are gonna think they're prepping for martial law, but its really just giving our marines valuable training. The french Army and FFL do the same thing, often training the the cities and towns near their bases, its provides good, realistic training to prepare them for war. I mean they're going to be fighting in a city anyway, it wouldnt make sense to train in the woods on base.

If the troops can fight/kill trouble makers in Irac, then they wont have a problem fighting/killing people in the US. There are plenty of bases to train on without using areas in towns the only reasons to conduct this shit outside of a base is to intimidate the population and get us use to seeing military in the streets and moving around within our borders. I don't have any beef with the military right now but stay the fuck off OUR streets while practicing,playing,or any other purpose. Keep your oath and respect posse comitatus and there will be no problems

I served as a MARSOC operator, [what you could call MSOAG now] but just like this video says, it is completely mock battle, yes it is very important to train in urban environments because in Iraq houses are nearly stacked right up against eachother, this creates hell for troops, IE swinging an M-16 around, getting your gear snagged, and heaven forbid an explosion rocking the house you just busted into.
But again...

It isn't a mock-up just because the marines say they're playing pretend.
A mock-up is a secure group of temporary structures, devoid of civilian presence, used for the express purpose of training OUR military. They are NOT re-purposed residences and homes.
You can't rationalize the crime away. Just because it's a military operation does NOT make it all okay.
You guys are paid to fight-off foreign invaders, not to condition fellow Americans for their incarceration by a corrupt government.
