In the native hebrew the OT was written in, creation in 7 complete phases, not days, the term for 24 hour day on earth did not show up till the end of genesis after adam was banished. Adam literally meant Man Kind Out Of The Earth. The name for a person, Adam, was made hundreds of years later in memory of the Genesis book. In the native hebrew the OT was written in, creation in 7 complete phases, not days, the term for 24 hour day on earth did not show up till the end of genesis after adam was banished. Adam literally meant Man Kind Out Of The Earth. The name for a person, Adam, was made hundreds of years later in memory of the Genesis book. @Da1337DoOD From my understanding they're not trying to dispute the other 2/3 of the movie. Only the part that denies Jesus Christ. Even a dumbed-down society can decipher when something is 100% false; therefore, disinformation is always packaged in mostly truth, so that people will buy what they're selling.

(continued) As for the dislikes, the film maker is obviously Christian so that must be enough to warrant hate from a lot of people. Truth is it he is not cramming his views down anybodies throat, all I see here is a respectful refutation of some bold and unfounded claims. This is not an "indoctrination film" at all. Just a reminder, tolerance doesn't fly if you make exceptions for certain groups.

If someone came here on the fence about Christianity and were to read the comment section what might they think? It's clear which side is hateful, intolerant and condescending. Is this what atheists resort to to show off their more rational and evolved minds over the believers, insults? Vain proclamations of intellectual superiority are thrown about by far to many nowadays with far to little to back it up. Job 26:7 says that the earth is suspended upon nothing in space. Job 26:10 and Isaiah 40:21-22 talks about the circle of the earth which also translates into "sphere". Many of the Mosaic Laws served a purpose in preventing disease, such as the draining blood out of animals before eating.

Instead of criticizing the video word for word, argument for argument, what we should do (including Elliot Nesch) is not refute a video that as its purpose, has the well-being of Humankind and the world we live in, but look for solutions to cope with the REAL problems at current times (such as Poverty, Racism, Classism, and so on...) Actio-Reactio: The "Zeitgeist Movie" or The Movement wouldn´t even have been originated if not for the (created) problems we experience worldwide.

I agree that Elliot Nesch did a good job at refuting every aspect of the "religion" part in the Zeitgeist movie. However, do we want to spend our time criticizing a movement, that evidently present solutions to our societal problems nowadays?
Personally, I can´t even imagine what this polarization of classes cause to our world today such as hunger. For instance, the other day I was unable to catch sleep because I hadn´t eaten all day. Now imagine those who have to starve for days, if not weeks!

I like Zeitgeist the movie, but I have to admit this documentary rips Peter Joseph & Co. a new one. I always knew something was very fishy about his movement. It calls into question also the credibility of the 9/11 and federal reserve parts. Worth the 2-hr watch.
