  • Any simularity with Dr Ninestien & Capt Falconer and Space 1999's Martin Landau & Barbera Bain is purely coincidental.

  • SEPARATED AT BIRTH:

Capt. Mary Falconer and Joan Rivers

  • ha ha ha

  • Winsor Davies was the voice of the top zeroid. Nice shoulders.

  • is it me or does it look like a primitive version of starwing/starfox 13 seconds in?

  • Dr 'Tiger' Ninestein. I bet he was the only person who called himself that!

    :-P

  • Watching this intro suddenly made me remember the 0's & X's game during the end credits. Strange how the mind works... it has been a few years, though. :)

  • OMFG - the zeroids!! That opened a long-closed door in my brain.... and the music... Awesome.

  • never thought id see and listen to this again.great thanks...

  • cool stuff this!, i had loads of the figures as a kid, them Zeriods crack me up!

  • I can't believe it is 26 years ago since I've last seen this!!!

Brilliant ~ Opening titles way ahead of it's time.

I remember Zelda - sadly I've grown up working in an office full of Zeldas.

  • Zelda used to put me off my sunday dinner after bullseye was on

  • god i loved this show, and what a great intro...a lot better then stingrays and captain Scarlett!

  • Great intro music. I have almost forgot this seri.I remember only those "metal balls" zeroids and dr Tiger. Thanks for posting bro.

  • Was that the inspiration for Team America World Police. I knew it had to be something 80's. Thats just how Matt and Trey roll.

  • Actually, Team America was inspired by a long line of British puppet shows, created by the legendary Gerry Anderson, of which this was the very last. For further references in this regard, look up Thunderbirds, Stingray and Captain Scarlett

  • Wow ! awesome stuff ! I used to watch this as a kid, couldnt for the life of me remember what the name of it was though !

Cool Graphics to for ,1983 I mean !

"Stay on this channel ! " lol

  • This used to scare the crap out of me...even seeing this intro made me nervous!

  • u r so cute - made me smile.

  • Ha ha, exactly the same. I think my pulse tripled just hearing the opening bars!

  • Same, here, I would dive behind the couch every time Zelda came on

  • is there a longer version of this opening where Zelda says something like, "I'll get you Terrahawks!!!" and then she laughs and there are laser noises??????? cause i've heard a version like that..... and, where can i find it again??

  • It used to be on here but was taken down for some reason. The fella played his extended version taken from a 7" record.

  • omg this was awesome, i loved this as a kid! i was fascinated by the noughts and crosses they played at the end too, lol

  • This is the best programme ever. I'm possibly the only person in the world who fancies Yungstar; he's cute, in an ugly way. My favourite good guys are Zero and 101, closely followed by Kate and Mary. I still want to be Kate Kestrel! People who diss the show are jealous because they're not as cute as the zeroids.

  • It's a shame they don't make kids shows like this anymore.

The problem nowdays is that everythings done with computers--its all CGI! CGI! CGI! everywhere. There's so many computor animated films around (Cars, the Incredibles, Ratatoule, etc) these days its very rare to find an original t.v show like this now days.

Still, all in the name of progress, eh?

  • Actually not only that. Nowadays (well, at least where I live), kid shows are total shit, CGI or not. It's all stuff like Pokémon and the stuff with real people or puppet are just stupid, to the point where the characters sometimes don't even talk and just do weird noises during the entire show. Back in the Sesame Street (or where I live, we also had Passe-Partout), kid shows were good and even teached them stuff.

  • Kid shows were good and even TAUGHT them stuff. Way to go.

  • sorry grammar-nazi :P english is not my english language

  • Terahawk's headquarters, "Hawknest" is in Ecuador ???

    (at 0:38)

  • It's a good dramatic theme

  • This might be the first audience-aware cartoon ("Stay on this channel!").

  • Zelda is well tasty!

  • This sort of thing was massive popular when i was at school. There was this asian show similar to this were a bunch of machines formed this huge robot with an X on his head. It was done with puppets too, any1 know it?

  • yeah it's called Star Fleet.

  • cheers

  • The Puppet Show

  • my god imagine waking up to find these puppets dancing at the bottom of your bed.sod that.good tv prog though

  • Hey everybody! Today I just got TERRAHAWKS: THE COMPLETE SERIES on DVD! It was at Atlantic Books in Dover and it was half-off ($12.49)! I remember the U.S. end credits with the bouncing Zeroid and the song "Living In The 21st Century." The funny thing was all this time, I didn't know it was the end credits to this show! 10-10!

  • does anyone know why the full length version isn't available anymore?

  • cos it scared the crap out of anyone hwo watched it, unfortunately, networks don't realise that fear and terror are healthy for children

  • Very healthy.

  • indeed this reminds me of sunday teatimes.... fantastic..... proper kids telly.... wikid theame music.... havent herd it for 20 years+ brings back great childhood memories!

  • I loved the zeroids!! I remember that I even used to know them by their numbers, zero was the main one and didn't 101 and 88 appear in the show a lot as well?? Haha. Oh the memories.

  • The music is great! I must find the DVD. 10-10!

  • Absolutely great. Reminds me of Sunday teatimes. Well worth a watch. Very stylistic. When kids TV was written with some intelligence & didn't treat its viewers as mini morons! Didn't CHiPS follow?

  • its a cream dream

  • LWT theme was more entertaining than this tripe

  • I used to feel sorry for poor YungStar

  • Wow, I haven't seen this intro in over 20 years. makes me feel really old. although to be fair, it's kind of hard to look at now without thinking about Team America

  • Fuck yeah
