Не говоря уже о том, что не было случая опробывать новейшие российские боеприпасы на броне Абрамсов. А армия со времён Ельцина строилась на внутренние конфликты, ВВ и МВД лучше оплачиваливались, расширялись. МО стабильно сокращалось. Прям как во вторую мировую, когда войска НКВД лучше обмундировывались, экипировывались и снабжались.

Мне очень не нравится бряцание советскими разработками, только сейчас доведёнными до серии или отменёнными, как ^ проект 199, очевидно создававшийся для северо-западной Германии. Но каждый раз когда я развиваю эту тему, в меня метают свежим калом или произносят фразы типа "почему вы американцы нас расчленить хотите", последнее я слышал последний раз в модификации в 1984 году :)

That thing was meant to destroy light anti-tank weaponry aka Bradleys, infantry ATGMs, etc in support of advancing tanks instead of the traditional motorized infantry on BMP.

@privateKALBAS actually, tanks are usually filled with ammo and fuel no? if not it would be a pretty shitty tank, if SO then the tank WOULD ignite and explode like you saw on the video...it has ACTUALLY happened in real warfare many times, and seeing as though russian ammunition is positioned AROUND the turret it would make the turret fly 20ft into the air WHEN(not if)it ignites.

When Russia was won in a war,jerk? By Napoleon ? By who ? In WWII? Korea ? Vietnam ?  In Iraq can be seen very well waht happens with american MBTs of shit when a russian ATGM and IEDs hit them. Give a good look in the videos called "Tank graveyards" to see how low is the strenght of Abrahms armour.

@LeoAndRas The Abrams has good armor. However any missile or round fired from the T-72, T-80, T-90 and even the BMP and BTR series within use of the Russian military will turn the Abrams into a smoldering wreck long before the Abrams even acquires the Russian vehicle. That gives Russia air and ground superiority over America.

@b1005c Do you know what type of munitions and AGTMs the Iraqi forces were using? They have been using APFSDS and HEAT rounds that have less than 200mm penetration. The AGTMs the Iraqi forces used 3M11s and 9K111 AGTMs from the 1960s. Current Russian forces use 9M119M2 (I believe) and newer. Modern Russian AGTMs have more than enough energy to punch through any tank.

Я рад что ты пишешь без павианьего метания кала, как не менее 50% тут. Ты мне верь, лучше не надо даже обсуждать такую возможность, учитывая всех ушибленных РТВ. Я так думаю в случае конфликта НАТО-Россия (который не обсуждать :)) ни одного танка США вы не увидите, вплоть до перемирия и аойск ООН, которые увидите.

@bobb22ful I've got to disagree with you there guy, during the Gulf we lost a few Abrams to export moddel T-72s with no night vision, fireing computers, crewed by mind numbingly incompetent Iraqi crews, while shooting crappy export ammo( steel penatrators instead of tungsten or depleted uranium etc) and they still got an awfull lot of hits on our tanks, if those had been russian millitary spec rounds we would have lost a lot more. Still would have won but it would have been bloody.

Кол-во птуров определяет сколько целей поразить можно.

А вот уже от того насколько быстро БМПТ заметит цель и успеет ее поразить - зависит ее время жизни в бою.

Да будь там хоть 20 ПТУРов - если она не успеет вовремя поразить цель - один хрен машина не жилец.
