@seneca175 This video is prefaced with the intro, " 'Shreem Brzee' Mantra, Teachings of Dr. Pillai." Dr. Pillai works more in Hinduism; thus, the relevance of my answer. I was not referring to Buddhism (although the variants of Buddhism DO hold to the Bodhisattvas). Also, from my cursory research of Buddhism, many DO claim to believe in a GOD and some even in a Jesus Christ. That you show resistance to my answer demonstrates an "attachment," which could be labelled non-Buddhist.

After all it doesn't mather witch religion a man or women believes in as long he or she practices it peacefully. BTW what means 'Shreem Brzee' and who is DR. Pillai?

My response to the question "why 108 times" was my own interpretation for an answer based upon my exposure to various world religions in my own spiritual pursuits. A Christian could just as easily argue "but there is only One name for GOD, because there is only one god..." In Truth, it is all energy.
