I couldn't be content with 100% of my pie if I knew for only 20% I could stabilize most of our problems. Exept of course the ones involving People bring somewhat inefficient . I don't know how that's fixable though unfortunately . Have you ever seen the documentary " capitalism a love story" ? I didn't agree with some of it but I thought it made a strong case why totally embracing capitolism can be very risky.

@kermudgean Yes, I oppose socialism. Not only because it is a bad reflection of Marxism, but because the most people were killed or exiled from their own country based on socialist principles. More so than the Nazis or the regime under Pol Pot. Capitalism is unfair, but I consider it the lesser of two evils. And I don't follow documentaries that spew out unilateral and biased information, especially from the likes of Michael Moore.

Why do the top 1% need more than everyone else to survive? Remember how in 2008 the world was on the edge of economic meltdown? If I recall it was the private sectors 1 corporate greed and 2 shitty decisions with the housing market that caused that in the first place.

The people upstairs could be doing some crap but the government is letting this happen too by not allowing loopholes to close. That being said, I don't think the public sector is benefiting us by continually exacerbating the problem; Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac gave subprime mortgages to people like your sister that cannot afford them.

Keynesian economics is foolish, you basically are setting up the debt by bloating up welfare so the leeches suck it dry. The United States Economy is dying because of the debt on all three tiers, government, economics, and people. The economics i agree with are ones exhibited in North America, Europe, and Oceanic Asia. They do not redistribute money, they set up social safety nets to keep the battlefield balanced.

@BrickishStudios Well, if you really want me to be honest about this, Keynesian economics stems from a liberal perspective of the economy, and I am no liberal. WWII pretty much showed the warning signs that Keynesian economics had holes in its system when we were stuck in a Depression for the longest time until we went to war and that allowed for debts to decrease. Stagflation was the result of reliance on Keynesian economics and it lost its appeal. So I'm not a big supporter of it.

@youngbloodfantasy91 I'm with you on that. I was thinking the same thing on Keynesian economics. Also, to add to the depression statement, a prime example of a film I know of that illustrated the depression perfectly is the 1940 film "The Grapes of Wrath".

My thoughts on the economy is that people should spend more, and not have banks get involved with mortgage and real estate, because that's opening another door towards another depression.
