  • im playing this for a grad ceremony

  • @twoscoops444 same here

  • It's strange how I always have this song in my head whenever I'm really happy.

  • @MikeHawk1234567890 Hey, i got the same feeling!

  • This got me hooked on all music now a days termed "classical" though this is from the Baroque period. Masterful piece of music, made to stir the soul! Rejoice!

  • were playing tis song

  • @MrHells1234 This is not a 'song'. For a 'song' requires 'singing'.

  • @Timorocksthetuba then wat would u call it?

  • @MrHells1234 An "opus", a "work", a "piece of music", a "tune", a "chart", or a "jam" (haha) would all be more appropriate.

  • @Timorocksthetuba

I like the jam. Why not gig? :P

  • @P0dDels

Referring to it as a gig would be like referring to it as a job or something. But since you may not be talking about this particular performance, you're probably referring to the music as a composition, which is more relatable to my short list of nouns. :D

  • @Timorocksthetuba

Completely right. I'm german and the the word "gig" is used as performance as you said, however, I ment it the other way :D

  • is this w The Academy of Ancient Music, Christopher Hogwood

    Original Release Date: October 14, 1997 ?

  • bravo!

  • i played this in 6th grade really fast as a first year bass clarinetist. i had the instrument for about 2 months when we played it. and i was one of the only people of the low brass and woodwinds that knew their part.

  • @MeBeMegaAwesome Good luck! Ive just played it for a little concert. (violin) We played it slowly. I was 2nd Violin and im 13 and i was the ONLY 2nd violin so that was pretty scary.

  • On second thoughts, I don't think it is... The Orcheu's Chamber version is a bit faster...

    Anyway, both are good =D

and my favourite movement of the Royal Fireworks

  • Could it be the version by the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, in December 1990??

'cause I have this recording at home and sounds very similar...

anyway, it's fantastic...surely the best version...

    greetins from Argentina

  • Hey PhiloTheSceptic, can you please tell me which recording it is?

  • I'm studying this too!

    WOOOO

    go GCSE music!!

  • this is on the GCSE music sylabus! (IN NORTHERN IRELAND!)

  • BRAVO!!! BRAVO!!!

  • what do you mean by IV?...is this musical arrangement has many parts...and why isn't that it has finale???....oh please help me..

  • Yes, the Royal Fireworks has five parts (or movements) and this is the second to last part. Typically the fireworks are launched at this part of the performance.

If I give you the names of the other parts you can probably find them on youtube:

    I) Overture

    II) Bourree

    III) La Paix

    V) Menuet I/II

  • agreed!

  • brilliant :D

  • I still love the Telarc version of this piece of music that includes an enormous bass drum come in on the down beat at the end of the piece. It will blow your speakers away!:)
