  • I got my Kaossilator pro a little under a year ago because of you :) I think I may get this as well

  • What do you have to output this to, to hear the music? Ive got a guitar amp with a normal jack input, or ive got a Roland D50 synth, ive just bought of these and would like to know what else i need to get in order to get it to work. Thanks

  • Damn.. Nice performance man, beautiful music!

  • i want one!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Excellent!!!

  • Stunning video.

  • Frickin' AWESOME!

  • Where did you get the music or are you creating it instaintainaly?

    Is o fucking good!!!

  • Where did you get the music or are you creating it instaintainaly?

  • *Floats in trainquility* Just beautiful man.

  • longest fingers I've ever seen

  • i dont get how this machine works

  • Nice wood floor :D

  • the pro is synht toll i wasd today in dj store and ask people who want an effect tooll should buy this im also buying is this month in my opinion its better then pro !

  • I've never used the kp3 before but when I seen what it could do, I bought a used one for around $298. Ever since I got it, its just been exparamental and so fun. Its easy to get clever on this equipment. I want to route it to FL studio and see what I can come up with. Great song Denkitribe

  • Begining reminds me of Aphex Twin

  • its so expensive!!!!!!

  • @KrazyKid215 : 200 bugs is not expensive for a used one

  • @HELLSPAWN1973 200 bugs is cheap! haha

  • you made this song?or if no..please tell me the name of the song:D

  • is this a soundloop that you create with the kaoss pad or a sample-loop which you create external?

  • Could you make a video explaining how it works and the functions of it :D

  • it comes with samples, just not a lot......the kaossilator pro comes with a plethora of sounds.....put them together......

  • add to fav

  • Wow great job my man!! love it!! =)

  • its a sampler you fags he didnt make it

  • Mass Effect anyone??

  • this is superb. incredible work

  • hey man, nice work, i have questions. ok what all do u need for the KP3. and do u need speakers. im thinking on buying one. thanks for ur time.

  • Better than all the stupid review videos i´ve seen

  • zweve, top song!

  • you have two tracks mixed isn't? lets say the second one is the one that is affected by the effects..... i hear the main mix clear and when you move the finger it changes the effect... or you doubled it? some explanation? sorry..

  • @punknart

Read the description, he says they're all internal samples. That cam with the Kaoss pad.

  • @Reketh there is no sample coming with kaoss pad, its an EXTERNAL sample.

  • @Reketh You can use the mic input for external samples.

  • You are now ready to make r-type music :P

  • so fantastic.... thanks for all these tunes!

  • love it

  • superman! hammer!

  • I've just ordered it!

Hope I'll get as good results as you :)

  • awesome machine, very nice job mayn

  • Very cool. I've got to get my hands on one of these bad boys.

  • so he done this with nothing but this pad no software?

  • @XiMurFiX yes, it's done without software.

  • again you are covering the sample bank buttons where its most important to see if you are manipulating 1 shots or loops. Just looking at your right hand moving on the pad is useless

  • release a CD , Your music is just incredible

  • I'm about ready to get one of these..Thanks for some ideas, love the vids!

  • @dricas76 if you want more ideas you should see what beardyman does with one

  • @potc420 Just got it two days ago, love playing with it. Working on some tunes with this and my OASYS.

  • Damn fine job right there. I just got a Kaoss Pad 3, so I'm checking out some videos on it. I really like what your getting out of this. If I'm not mistakin, isn't that the rim shot sound from the Electribe? If not, it sounds a lot like it. I messed around with one at a guitar center and really wished I could sample that thing. just the few presets sounds I was able to play were great. Anyways... Great job! (Oh, and thanks for telling the effects your using)

  • thats awesome!!!

  • beats the hell out of pantha du prince.

  • Nice work !

  • nice sound ! whats your name ?

  • Hey man, anywhere I can buy this song? iTunes perhaps?

  • you could rip it from youtube (listentoyoutube or something like that)...

  • Way ahead of ya!

    keepvid ftw

  • I have a KP3 in my studio and love it, simple but rich tool. Is nice to hear what other people have done on it and loving the ambiance :)

  • I gotta say, This guy music is Awesome, He should be a Techno DJ or Electronic DJ or something. His songs are really good.

  • @allendayoff he is

  • I am very tempted to pick this up and start working with Ableton just because of you.

  • That is beautiful!

  • Is this all made with just the korg on its own?

  • he used software to make the samples, most likely ableton and sampled them into the kp3

  • You have such steady hands!

  • Comment removed

  • Great song!

  • wow excellent work!!!!

  • This Denkitribe is awesome, neverf a loose track,

  • Very ambient, i love it, this is like i feel, when i'm dreaming...

  • not the sort of music I usually listen to, but this is excellent, very good work

  • good theme!

  • very ambient and atmospheric i love it

  • Is the sample taken from the Yamah CS2X keyboards "Walrus" sound...

Sounds exactly like it... just one arpeggiated loops worth.

  • yeah, what sample is this.....I'm really lovin' that track

  • lush vibes man

  • Guys, I need your help!

I play keyboard in a metalband and Im wondering if I schould use a kaoss pad 3 too get some extra effects like Vadim Pruzhanov do in DragonForce!

What do you think? Yes, or No?

  • of course you can.

You could even have some guitar or vocals leading into it, output the audio from the kp3 into a mixer and resend it back to the P.A.

What ever you want. Its the best, hardware wise, for effects.

    check out ableton live.

  • Okay, thanks:)

  • The More Effects the better my friend...just don't over use 'em

also try ableton live with a midi controller for crazy sample and synth possiblities:)

  • Thanks for the advice:)

  • Yeah, like assgroos says, you can plug the KP3 direct into a mixers effects inputs/outputs... that way you can apply different levels to your different inputs as well - e.g. have delay on the drums for a bit, then add some grain to everything, then filters on the vocals etc... it's a great bit of kit!

  • Yes. And that's coming from someone who is primarily metal, and electronic on the side. I have actually thought of quite a lot of ways this could help with a guitar running through it :]

You will discover them if you get this.

Can't wait 'til I get mine.

  • i think guitar, especially "metal" style would ruin this song completely

  • I wasn't saying this song, I was saying using my guitar with the kp3.

  • @skulleton metal guitar would ruin it yea.. but not guitar in general. I'm sitting here playing with my pedals and playing guitar to this and it sounds sweet, even more spaced out.

  • quite beautiful, I def dig the vibe.

could you post what song/samples you used I would love to know what that is

  • Amazing !

  • nice one

  • Beautiful

  • id love to sing over this and add heavy guitar

  • Brilliant dude !

i love this piece. reminds me of "deus ex" music , one of the most beautiful game ever.

  • great, if u did this, you could make something like uuuhh... the next kid a XD

  • its just a demonstration dude :)

  • thinking of buying one of these... do samples like these come with the machine?

  • Yes i think they do, as he mentions in his description this is the internal sampler.

  • cheers bud

  • This is really sweet. I just bought one of these the other day... hours of fun.

  • where did you buy it from and how much?

  • I got mine new from guitar center for 400... but that's only cause I had a gift card there, you can get better deals than that. I saw one on ebay brand new for 329. And the only samples that come with it are included in the software: just two kind of dumb drum loops. I've mostly been looping guitar through my amplifier, but you can do so much with it. The vocoder is really fun to use if you have a decent mic.

  • That was really peaceful.........

  • Did you compose this sample and save it in KP3 or it was imported? It's really beautiful!!

  • cool song

  • If your around the new york area I have one for sale for $250 bucks. I just dont DJ anymore. Send me a personal message if interested.

  • amazingly relaxing.

  • i RATE THIS ONE AS THE TOP

  • if u wanna say pro use it type in beardyman

  • that's bad ass

  • thats an awesome loop goin through

where could i find somethin like that?

  • nice video

did you sample the abcd slots on the fly or imported the loops with the software?

cuz I've got one but the software is quite buggy

  • Omg i want this on my ipod can you plz send me the link!

  • Is that just the Kaoss pad? or are you running a sequencer into it or something?

  • Saladin, the description says "internal sampler only", and I only see cables going going out from the line out. He most likely recorded the individual few bars of sample onto the KP3, and then went ahead recording this :)

    Good job on the video

  • what is the difference between a kaoss pad and the mini kaoss pad or the kaossilator?

  • google & wiki know it ;)

  • the mini kp its only an effects processor with only 5 synth programs.

  • Hey I"m a muse fan and know that Matt Bellamy uses these. I however have know idea how to do this or how these work... could anyone explain??

  • Basically (I don't own one so I can't give you a really good understanding) you select a voice, or sound 'database'. Then depending upon where you place your finger on the pad, it will change the pitch of that sound. You can then loop them, save them, add other loops, add an effect or filter, or use it as a MIDI controller. Really nice device.

  • listen to 65daysofstatic, they use them really well. And if you are into muse you might like them anyway. The best way to learn is to buy. So buy one, thats what im doing, got nothing else to spend my wages on.

  • a member of my band has one, its hard to explain but it can do almost anything. u can plug a synth in and play a sequence and it continues it. and much more.

  • fucking great

  • could u send me that tune pls.awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!cheers m8

  • do the sounds come with it and can u hook it up with a midi keyboard??

  • thats so beautiful. i've been wanting one for a long time and this makes me want it so much more!!!

  • Want one!

  • i was thinking of spending 400 on reason 4.0

but i changed my mind....this is more worth it.

  • showoff! i envy you and now this is definately on my birthday / christmas gift list!

    AAAAAH!

  • fuckin brilliant man

  • great ambient sound!!

  • very nice

is this done with like only sample effects or is it stuff inputed

  • **SPOILER** its a screamer at the end **SPOILER**

  • you pretty much get what the title suggests - and given those criteria, you're lucky there is even sound! have a little respect

  • hypnotic, melodic, calming... love this vibe!

  • That is one nice piece of gear.

  • hey does this thing come with an instruction manual when u buy it

  • :) you always make a beautiful tune.

  • It's so relaxed that i'm getting sleepy

  • this is wonderful.. while I don't think it works as a piece of music as it stands it provides a nice backdrop for other stuff... I'm thinking of stuff like Bugge Wesseltoft, Molvaer, Terje Rypdal... just lovely.. really nice use of subtlety from you at times quite emotional...

  • would this work with a djm 400 and a cdj 400

  • Most likely. It works with a lot of stuff so it's probably going to work with turntables and stuff. You just need the right kind of cord that's all.

  • That's some heartfelt fingering.

Keep up the something something work blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.

  • Simply beautiful.... wowow

  • you can't, we are even lucky to have the kp3 to sample up to 15 seconds:/

  • Denkitribe the man who can convert everybody to electro

  • I'm getting sleepy of this music

  • AMAZING!!! can u pleeze post some samples for download somewhere??!!

  • Leave the guy alone, he was just correcting an easily made mistake!! god you people are really sad

  • (by the way when you say "I" its capital, not "i")

    Grow up.

  • did you make this completely on the kp3 or did you programme the parts on a synth first?

  • Of course, the Kp3 is just a sampler effect unit, u have to pt your loops samples in, to make it sound.

  • When I listen to this track, it is as though the inevitabilities of the universe converge. Light contemplates empty space, as my spirit drifts towards its awakening. Thank you. Also, I am curious if this thing uses a power supply? Or just a cord to the wall?

  • what happens if you put 2 or more fingers on it?

  • it explodes

  • hehe

  • Hey I just got one of these earlier but haven't played with it yet, and was wondering if you can connect a guitar to it?

  • hey im looking at buying one of these, so im wondering what have you got this hooked upto? and are the samples pre-loaded?

  • hi have mine for 1 month now and i am enjoying a lot.soon i ll put some of mine tracks.Because of these videos i discovered the kp 3.Thanks denkitribe

  • amazing.

  • niceeeeeee!!!!! love music on the vid, what u do with this kp2 is gr8!! :) do u have some records with these samples? can u send smth? pls ;)

  • Its a KP3.....no KP2 :)

  • it kp3 idiot, read the title

  • KP2?? its KP3 mate

  • sh*t, i know that, i just make typeing mistake, so what? big deal...

  • Youre All Probably Gonna Think Im A Loser, But How Do I Connect And What Cables Would I Need To Connect The Kaoss Mini To A Guitar...?

  • A 1/4" Jack, i.e a basic guitar cable.
