have you ever considered doing a new version of this video? this is totally awesome, but there are some many newer videos and launches that you could use now!
@Smhendo152 I honestly don't remember actually! When I was making this video, I did a lot of searching online for video footage for the various missions, and I can't remember the origins of some of them.
Sometimes I wish we could send these videos back in time to be watched by Leonardo, Galileo, Newton and the others. It's always struck me as kind of unfair that they posed the foundations for all this and could not even glimpse to the astounding reward we're reaping now...
the owner of this stream is doing great and wonderful things. These videos are, while entertaining, some of the most informative, inspiring and useful videos I've spent my time watching.
This was amazing. Carl Sagan's monologue at the start was wonderful, and the series of images and videos afterwards filled me with awe and brought me close to tears. I applaud you. This should have more views.
@UppruniTegundanna Well the main one i noticed was the date for the voyager flyby of jupitor, you said it took place in 1971. lol i wish NASA had the budget to launch a mission like voyager at the same time as moon walks!
@drjonathonflash As it happens you send this message just as I was working on my next one. Suffered some major computer problems which has made it impossible to get anything done, but I'm back up and running, and hope to have something new within the next week or two.
I wish I could donate some of my videos' 1,000,000+ views to this one. I like it when people watch my animations...but everyone needs to be exposed to things like this.
I weep in sorrow at the tragedy 4:43, and yet I weep ever more in amazement, in awe and in wonder of what we have accomplished and what we still can accomplish.
Why does an amazing video like this only have 1,900 views...but a laughing baby has amost a billion? It just shows that humanity still has a far way of coming before a actual realization of out place in the cosmos
Too many people are drones, too busy because there doesn't seem to be any other way to live except to work most of their lives away just to have some semblance of 'life'. Conditioned from birth to think that 'thats just the way it is' Tv, movies, newspapers etc mold them, encourage them to be greedy, selfish, and distrusting. Society is backwards IMO, and something needs to give to reverse it and bring subjects that actually matter like those shown here back to the forefront where they belong.
@Daniel13999 It's the same reason why something as mundane as mainstream sports or celebrities clog the newspapers and you have to try hard to find a small piece of relevant information somewhere in the interior
I almost cried just from the awe inspiring Images & The Realization that we are only The Pale Blue Dot. But how We have crawled, pulled & fought our way into the Sky to crawl some more for one more Peek over the next Peak. But Then I read your comment & I couldn't help But laugh My Ass Off :) Good reality check about how Retarded and blind some are.
P.S. I lied about the cryn part- I gave that up for lint.

I still find it astounding how far man has come in the last 100 years.. and it fills me with excitement what the next 100 will bring for future generations.
@pakko57 wow, it's great to see someone positive about our species instead of some pessimistic anti-human jerk which are all over youtube. Thank you! that comment made me very happy! ;)
Every time I climbed a mountain, stood a the foot of a volcano, been in the open ocean in a tiny boat, and saw the first corrected Hubble photos - every time, it felt like I was in a real church. The true church.

One might argue with the accuracy of the "historical" narrative, but certainly not with the excellence of the presentation. Absolutely splendid!

It's from the bible, actually. Which is ironic, considering the nature of the video.
It's a poetic line in any case.
