  • If it makes a difference, I have been extremely dissatisified with the current administration. Probably for different reasons than you.

  • edburg: It is not that I have a distain for the rich or super wealthy. I do however have a terrible dislike for those who would make profit off the sufferings of other without concern or conscience. Bush and firends meet that qualification. P.S. I was conservative for twenty years! And voted for the neo-con agenda. But then I woke up and saw what has happened to my country.

  • gjohnson87109... i have held a conservative ideology for as long as I can remember (now 40 years old). all this despite having grown up under very difficult circumstances in my childhood. I believe very strongly in conservative principles: limited government, low taxes, freedom of speech, strong on defense, empowering small business, doing away with discrimination. These things and many others I hold in high regard.

  • looks like history is repeating itself

  • The military order of the Poor Knights of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon was founded in 1118 in Jerusalem to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land following the First Crusade.

  • As their military might increased, the Templars also grew in wealth, acquiring property throughout Europe and running a primitive banking system. After the Templars left the Middle East with the collapse of the Crusader kingdoms, their power and secretive ways aroused the fear of European rulers and sparked accusations of corruption and blasphemy.

  • Craig. Review history and you will find that when Adolf took over Germany, he had his "private security" do the diryt jobs like crystal night. Burning of th Bundw. etc. When he invaded Poland and Czech. His seurity troops became the SS.

  • Just because people have money (a lot of it) this does not make them wrong. Though you haven't said very much, it seems as though your advocating socialism. When this happens you remove those things that define America's greatness.

  • THey only have money because their friends in the Bush administration created an artificial market with their invasion of Iraq.

It's like someone who sets' fire to a building and then makes a profit by putting it out.

  • Caveman, Bush himself could not authorize the use of force in Iraq... Congress had to pass that resolution... Dems and Republicans in addition to Bush worked together at the time to do this.

  • No State Dept. Oversight= Condi Rice

    No Dept. Of Justice Oversight=Gonzales

I can continue but you get the picture. Bush is setting America up for a Dictator. Blackwater will be it's shock troops.

  • Johnson, that's insane. Shock troops in an American dictatorship? These guys are all vets working a contract for their country's government overseas. Furthermore, they're doing security missions and not kicking in doors. I can't help but think the insane comments come from people who have never been in the military. Not to say anyone's opinion counts more than another's, but I'd say vets are generally more informed in this area and also less apt to protest in the same way.

  • gjohnson... can we agree that based on your comment if this comes to fruition, I will publicly declare myself the idiot. If it does not, will you declare yourself an idiot? Just wanted to find out if you are willing to back up your words, or if you are simply spewing flagrant stupidity? Bush... pushing for a position as dictator... let's just see what happens, shall we.

  • To declare your "idiotcy" publicly would be a waste of time. The question is will you bear arms in the defence of the American People as a whole and not the select 1% (ruling wealth). Look at where Bush(Neo-Cons) is trying to take us now! Iran? We have not even stabalized Iraq. Sounds like classical "Bush A.D.D." ya think?

  • your statement regarding the ruling wealth shows both disdain an ignorance for the very way of life you enjoy every day. Have you ever owned your own business. do you ever stop to consider what the economy has a whole would be like if we didn't have individuals striving to do well in their business?

  • gjohnson... you made a statement... i challenged your statement and now you avoid the question. If Bush does not institute a dictatorship, will you call yourself the idiot. I would gladly declare it on youtube if I'm wrong. If you ignore this question or respond in the contrary, I can only conclude that you do not mean what you say.

  • Whatever! You can do nothing with the Truth, but one can beat the crap out of a lie; until the Truth is reveled. Therefore, the Truth shall be told. There, now what? May God bless us all, and restore our Souls from fear to Peace.

  • Erik Prince, the owner of Blackwater, is the son of a Michigan billionaire who has long been a deep pocket funder of the Republican Party and Repubican candidates. The Prince family is getting a magnificent return on its political donations at the expense of the American taxpayer.

  • more special pork, no over sight, whats wrong with the army.

  • Dick Devos ran for gov.Michigan Republican candidate. His wife was head republican party in Michigan. Her brother owns Blackwater.Wonder why Bush gives him contracts.Should politically ambitious family own their own army, scary.

  • Remember, Erik Prince, CEO of Blackwater, is a fundamentalist Christian. His family believes this is Gods work. A direct quote from his uncle. Think about that for awhile. A private, Republican, neo con Christian army, paid for by American taxes. Think that may create a couple more enemies? Think they may want to blow up another US city or cities? These crazy neo cons are going to get us all killed!

  • I want to know what and who gives these trash the right to tell Iraqi civilians to "stay back" while driving on a road? Who gave these scum filth the permission to have so much control over the Iraqi civilans? No wonder Iraqis want them dead!! These pigs are dangerous not only to Iraqis but also to the image of America in Iraq!! I want these mother fucker paid agent of whomever (the oil companies-the israeli zionists) to be brought to justice and rot in hell!!

  • This was a private deal by Bush. They promised to help Bush around the United States if they were given the Billion dollar contract. What did they promise? They promise to help him become DICTATOR!

  • of course so when bush calls for directive 51 guess who will be pushing american citizens off the roads? Shooting us willie-nillie?

    Wake up America!

  • Checking to see if Blackwater was fixing the contracts proved how bad it is to work with those creeps and saved the government $34,000,000. The next step for Waxman is to hold hearings on, "What does this mean, we are privatizing the military?"

  • So basically, after the audit, they were able to "negotiate" a reduction of over 30%. But perish the thought that Blackwater were taking advantage of the situation! No no no no no! Unthinkable!

  • The GOP like to say how much they believe in the competitive nature of the marketplace, yet time and time again they give out no-bid or sole-source government contracts, shutting out all competition. There's a word for such behavior; it's called "hypocrisy."

  • Also note, even with Blackwater playing very dirty, we still could not control Iraq. It has gotten worse. Some of our leaders felt Blackwater, private security contractors, etc would be the secret weapon against "insurgents". Wrong. The "insurgents" began to look more like civilians, because of the behavior of Blackwater, etc. A complete cluster fuck.
