@Lars6111 Hi. The switch inbetween the control knobs is one I wired in myself. The "factory" setting when the pickup selector switch is in the centre position is: Neck and Bridge p/ups in parallel. When I throw the extra switch down, I get the strat p/up on its own instead of the other two. It only affects that particular p/up selector position. I don't use the guitar that much, so it may be up for sale soon.
@Lars6111 Hi, I did it by trial and error! so I haven't got a diagram as such. I used a two position double pole switch if that helps. Let me know how you get on. I also have a G & L Will Ray Tribute model with a Hip Shot B Bender on it. Maybe I'll sort a video out later.
are you able to lock the mechanism so it doesn't always bend the b string. I want to get one and i do a lot of moving around stage so with some songs i would like to use it but i would also like to be able to possibly lock it to be sure i dont hit a strange note. Thanks
You can't "lock" this particular mechanism. When I first started using it on stage, I had the same problem that you mentioned. After a bit of practice (like anything else) you get more control over the way you move the guitar and are less likely to "set off" the bender accidently. Hope this helps, Baz.
I have this same guitar, and you can't lock it as he said, you get control of it fairly easily but if you decide not to, there is still a way to feed it through the guitar without going through the bender mechanism
The guitar came with the mechanism installed. Some luthiers can install one on an "off the shelf" guitar, but this will involve routing out the body. Hope this helps.
You heard wrong...I treated myself to that guitar after passing an OU Degree, so I'm very likely to hang on to it. On this model, the front strap button is connected to the 2nd string (B) via a series of rods in a routed compartment in the rear of the guitar. When you pull up the strap button the B string is pulled tighter so its pitch is raised by a tone. A more accurate name would've been "B Stretcher" but that doesn't has the same ring to it does it? .
Yes. Like alot of musicians, I have too many instruments and some may not get played for a while. Hanging them facing the wall helps protect the finger-boards from damage and dust.
This is bullshit for rednecks!!Honestly

I'm probably going to buy a guitar like that soon ;)
Do you have some kind of switch between the volum/tone knobs?

@BENDITLIKEBAZZA Ty, for your answer!
Thats exactly the same think I want to do when I'm getting a Nashville Telecaster.
Do you have a diagram on how to wire in the switch?

Nice picking mate, I like the B Bender as it can sound like a steel guitar, great for playing Country.
