Good review, but we couldn't see a damn thing on the screen, since there was not enough brightness.Maybe you need a nuclear sun explosion to see things properly, like the first Gameboy Advance LOL
It came out in 2002. Also the GBA didnt have a backlight until the the second release of the GBA SP. The first SP models just had light around the edge and looked washed out. So its not uncommon for systems to not have them until around the GBA micro. The cost of the Wonderswan was also only $50....
It's a nice looking little system, I'd be interested to see what games are available in English. As Amurphy pointed out, I do think the positioning of the A and B buttons is an odd design choice though.
Nice addition mate. The lack of a baclight is the same problem I have with my Neo Geo Pocket Color which is why I don't really collect for it, unlike the older Turbo Grafx Express.
@P5ychoFox It's basically a circuit board that slots into the cartridge slot on either a TurboGrfx console or the handheld version and then you insert your game into that or region free gaming.
Awesome dude! glad i gave you the wonderswan bug :D lol,i need more wonderswans :D they are so dam cool!
The lack of backlight does annoy me but at the time it was a very cheap handheld, much cheaper than gba i think.
Some games are played vertical like shmups and thats where the 2 dpads come in,their is one game i reeealy want its called "judgement silversword" check it out on youtube.
so u can play it portrait i fink

I've not heard of that region mod card for the TG Express - what's that?
