@rick6501 Well, in that case, I am left with no other choice than to believe you as no one else but the person from same village would know about their history more than anyone. Even movies are misleading some time as they modify the reality to enable them for easy money.

gangasati was a saint in samdthiyada near bhavnagar.and panbai was her servant came with her from her family to take care of her as it was tradition in older times specially rajput family..

@rick6501 Pardon me for commenting on your knowledgeable comment. First of all, thank you for flashing some light on us. As far as I know, there are most people to hold with the unverified fact that Panbai was Gangasati's daughter-in-law. When I was in India a month ago, somewhat similar knowledge came unto me from our close family friend, the difference: Panbai was maid servant came with daughter in law of Gangasati.
