Enjoyable video lads. We've just made the pilgrimage, and after 20 years of watching the film, it was good to be there. Total madness, driving 350 miles to visit a phone box in the middle of nowhere, but worth it.
'Crow Cragg', where the pair end up "on holiday by mistake", is Sleddale Hall, a derelict cottage alongside Wet Sleddale Reservoir, just west from the A6, near Shap, about twelve miles south of Penrith, Cumbria. And, yes, that is Wet Sleddale and not 'West Sleddale'.
Great stuff chaps hope to do the same in the next few weeks. ;-) When did you take the adventure? The pics from google earth look very different like some of its been knocked down and rebuilt! :-(
looks like you all had a great time. the cottage looks a little sad though, all boarded up and all. did you manage to take a glimpse inside? what is the actual address of the place?
