  • aint comfortable but got my feet up, its hard to hear u when ur 30000 feet up

i hate that i knew wizs version before the original...fml

  • @LucidProductions2010 Wiz's version did what it was supposed to do, made you look this one up

  • @Tariq6886 Wiz sucks ass, he has one good mixtape and he sold the fuck out on top of that. That's coming from someone who's hometown is Pittsburgh.

  • @LucidProductions2010 I haven't even heard wizs one yet and i dont plan on it

  • i was so little when my sister would jam to this..i'm glad she did. <3 cuz here i am still jamming to it. ;)

  • A friend of mine introduced me to the wu tang clan so i felt i should give back to him and i introduced him to pharcyde, tribe called quest, de la soul etc and now he fuckin loves the pharcyde!

  • @P4DDY2K11 you are a good friend lol. I've been listening to A tribe called quest radio on all week on pandora. Its good stuff.

  • @JoeyFerguson3 you can't not love tribe.

  • This is one of my favorite rap groups of all time. Intead of the crap thats on the radio, I listen to music off of my smartphone like the Pharcyde, De La Soul, Kid n Play, A Tribe Called Quest and Naughty by Nature when i'm in the car. I think rap should become more lyrical & deep like the whole 90's movement of Alternative Hip-Hop Artist, just saying. I really don't consider Drake & whoever else kids my age (16-18) like to be poetic and lyrical. -___-

  • @ciaragal95 I wish we could of stayed in the 90's forever

  • @Moat420 I agree :) a majority of my MP3's are 90's music <3

  • this music is what i'm trying to save cuz its fading away like everything in our world gets killed when it blows my music is here Thenamesmillen1

  • internet.

  • i wasnt scared just real nervous and unprepared

  • here comes a time in every man's life when he's gotta handle shit up on his own

  • Like this if you're a teenage molerat in yellow sunglasses sippin' Beaujolais Nouveau.

  • Funky. Phat. Dope. Pay attention kids of today. What you're witnessing is an age when rap and hip hop wasn't about bling, bitches, and beemerz. Artists creating art.

  • classique, j'aime !

  • the sitter?

  • was this song in a movie? what movie?

  • @WhaaaaaaatUp It was on New York Undercover in 95.

  • @WhaaaaaaatUp 8 Mile

  • I was in School back in the day when these dudes was doing their thing, I can not beleive for the life of me they didn't blow up like they should has. Keep it real Pharcyde. You always have a follower for life.

  • This is the muzik i used to listen to wen i was in my moms belly and I still listen to it today. A Pure CLASSIC

  • here cause of my nigga Wiz to be honest haha

  • 1:37 how does Tre do that?!! im been trying to do that dance for da longest.

  • I'm 17 i listen to hip hop and nothing else. always have always will

who the fuck is lil wayne?

  • @mobfiggaz33 no, b.o.b looks like him

  • I'm hear because of it's remix Runnin' 08 by Outasight! :)

  • like this if you are 14-16?

  • @iwapedu I'm 15 yo and i'm glad to see that there is " teenagers " ( i hate this word ) like me watching and listening good old hip-hop

    ( sorry for the mistakes , i'm french )

  • @iwapedu I'm 15 but I'm not thumbing up your obvious attempt at getting fake points over the internet.

  • @iamnotascientisi I see it as more of a way of making a point than an attempt to get fake points over the internet.

  • @iwapedu whoa? rep for the sventeen yr olds maybe?

  • @iwapedu i was when i first hear this

  • @iwapedu 14-16 bowls in.

  • Stan Getz - Saudade Vem Correndo

    is the genious sample

  • Wiz khalifa - Name on a cloud :)

  • @bringrapback Couldn't have said it better myself. Wiz better version? Not a chances. No one can ever topped a classic! And this is definitely a classic.

  • Wiiz Khalifa did a Better version (I think :D)

  • @GagalolxD Get The Fuck Out Here with that wiz shit, The pharcyde Created this shit and wiz like a low life punk sampled it because he doesnt know how to create such a masterpiece.. Get the fuck out of here dick

  • @bringbackrap594 Im a fan of ATCQ, Pharcyde, and Camp Lo. Wiz hopping on this track is him paying homage. He hopped on the Luchini track by Camp Lo also. He's not a low life punk. Quit judging, and enjoy the music.

  • @GagalolxD not at all buddy. but I am a fan of Wiz. Old Wiz that is.

  • @ndurrett19 Well Search Wiz Cuz were here for the PHARCYDE BRO

  • @bringbackrap594 Am I not here for Pharcyde also?

  • wasnt alive till late 90's but fck wish this music was still alive , fck artist's like tinie tempah tht claim to be a rapper , unlike this their songs have no meaning in them what so ever.

  • S/O out to all the producers from that time period. Ya made a young man like believe in music. Dilla, Prince P, Dre, Eric B, Pete Rock, Rza, Ali Shaheem, even Doug E. Fresh and Biz Markie beatboxin was classic!!

  • I know the horns were sampled from Stan Getz, but the the acoustic guitar lick that keeps repeating throughout this jam...what's it from?

  • the dislike bar is the size of dwayne carter's lil' wayng

  • Nothin stays the same, so bitchin about what happened to hip hop doesnt really do anything...On the real though Wiz Khalifa killed this beat with "Name On A Cloud", check it out

  • @loblaws19 True, when you think about it rap didn't get any radio play in it's embryonic stage. Just as the pioneers upped the innovation in the late 70's, regardless of no radio play or recognition, dudes going to have to up the innovation for today. Especially with today's technological social networks.

  • @loblaws19, I heard that song, and honestly, the Pharcyde did a much better job on that beat. Wiz Khalifa did not do a very good job rapping on the beat because he tried to rap slow and take long pauses on a beat that was somewhat fast.

  • i was four years old when this came out and have been in love with it since i was 16

  • Grew up on this man #Memories

  • i was 10 or so when i first heard this join, when i moved the burbs. I never listened to anything that was out the west coast kept tupac before this. All I know is, this was the first west coast hip hop besides tupac that I actually liked. I mean Tupac really doesn't count as west coast for me, so technically this group is one of the only west coast groups I ever liked, and its mainly cus they spoke on issues other than gangbangin and the hood, which coming from the hood I could not stand.

  • i went to my 2nd period class today and this song was playing on my teacher's laptop. I was instantly attracted by the beat, and I don't usually listen to rap, but I do have a tendency to like ANY genre from the 90s. I'm lucky I came in at the right time to catch this song

  • I'm 35 and I'm glad I was here to experience this music my generation s hip hop . Nothing better .

  • rip j dilla

  • Just imagine yourself walking down the avenue wearing a pair of Wayfarers, having the nice warm sun on your neck, and this blasting in your headphones.... PERFECT.

  • 95 THE LAST YR OF REAL HIPHOP!!! R.I.P HIPHOP 79 - 95

  • @MrLeebo123 hiphop isnt dead

    TPR

  • I'm glad that I was not brought here by "Name on a Cloud"

  • man, fuck the rap of today... I miss da 90's

  • @theorginalbnude god belss u

  • @theorginalbnude when i was young i was laughing about the music my parents or grandparents were listening, the next generation will laugh about our music thats life my brother, and i miss the 90's too...

  • ultimate summertime song

  • This was playing in 8 mile when there were in the car lol

  • This song is real shit to anybody on the come up. I'm giving a personal thumbs up to everybody not runnin away!

  • Miss the old days.

  • bet no one knows they got this from visioneers...
