blowoff valve.. I thought it would be mandatory in gas turbos, cos when your throttle valve closes the boost has nowhere to go.. wouldnt it break your turbo or throttle body or something?
Not all dump valves sound the same. My Forge CBV sounds very similar (fluttering sound). It's designed to sound that way. Instead of all the air dumping from one fluted opening, there's a series of holes around it. The fluttering sound is caused by the holes.
