  • I think BT vision is just great and no probs with adapators

  • Powerline adaptors are illegal, as they cannot fulfill the essential requirements of the EMC regulations 2006 (look it up folks).

Anyone supplying or using these adaptors can be told to remove them, and may be prosecuted by either Ofcom or their local Trading Standards department.

  • nothing wrong with thebt vision box but in my opinion the service is let down by the powerline adaptors supplied with it which can potentialy cause interference to radio services for hundreds of metres from the source. I believe that if bt wish to market this service they should remove the offending adaptors

  • @Adriano9966 +1

  • I don't believe that powerline adaptors are issued as standard with BT. But where they are (and where individuals use Powerline adaptors for broadband connectivity around the home) it is clear that these devices can cause interference on certain bands. I believe Shortwave is most affected. This is unfortunate for those passionate about long-distance radio. However, I beleive the impact on FM and AM is neglilgable.

  • Anyone know about BT causing a buzzing / vibrating sound related to BT vision - it's definitely the only thing that can be causing it in my flat. If so is there a remedy for it? Thanks very much
