  • @goodolguz Did your RDC make you do 4 count push ups and sit ups? Mine did.. was basically a push up or sit up divided into 4 sections 4 would be all the way down 3 would 3/4 of the way 2 was 1/2 4 was all the way up. my RDC would sit there and call out 4-2 4-2 4-3 4-3 4-2 for 5 minutes. I was in such good shape.

  • I actually like the exercise now because it's a beneficial workout, but the Navy never spun it like that because it was used as punishment.

  • 1,2,3,4,3,4,3,4,3,4,5,6,7,8 ON YOUR RIGHT SIDE GET THERE, TOO SLOW ON YOUR FEET, 1,2,3,4,3,4,3,4,3,4,5,6,7,8 good times at arleigh burke

  • @panoramik123 its al about that marvin g shields

  • 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, "ONE PETTY OFFICER!!!" 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, "TWO PETTY OFFICER!!!" lol good times!

  • you and me both dirtywest. but they are a great way to burn fat all over, as it is not an isolating exercise

  • I also did these (a ton!) in Navy Boot Camp.

  • haha i'm doing these to prepare for boot camp late next month :P

  • KOOOL!

  • We had to do this crap in Boot Camp (Navy).

Beyond boring.. it sucks, painfully.. at least at first. Get's your heart rate going real fast, and believe it or not helps with your push ups.

  • If you think it's boring, don't do it.

I think this is some good advice and it's a quick workout you can do without a fully decked gym.
