i am going off of the books and in the books she could do way more to the real klaus she maybe could not kill him but he would not try her. Statistically speaking, if they followed Damon's way, Bonnie would kill Klaus on her own and only she and Klaus would die (1 casualty). But they followed Elena's way, on which herself, Caroline, Tyler and Klaus would die (3 casualties). But things went wrong, and Jules, Jenna and John died, the main target Klaus survived and god knows how many people Stefan had to and is going to kill (uncountable casualties, no gain). I always found Elena's protective attitudes annoying and here's my proof :)

Elena made everyone so desperate to find a way that noone will die, but she practically left the werewolf and vampire choice to Klaus. She is like "I don't know them, so they can die, no problem". Like they don't have any families, loved ones, etc. You know how she reacted to Stefan's victim list. Elena is not caring, she is selfish.

I have to admit, I'm not Bonnie's biggest fan, but she was really badass in this scene! And I love how Damon carried Elena over to Stefan, because he knew she would've wanted to be with him. The whole episode was great.
I loved Elijah until he didn't kill Klaus. He should have been smart enough to know he will play him. Then Klaus killed Elijah. I hope in season 3 the original family gets revenge towards Klaus.

Statistically speaking, if they followed Damon's way, Bonnie would kill Klaus on her own and only she and Klaus would die (1 casualty). But they followed Elena's way, on which herself, Caroline, Tyler and Klaus would die (3 casualties). But things went wrong, and Jules, Jenna and John died, the main target Klaus survived and god knows how many people Stefan had to and is going to kill (uncountable casualties, no gain). I always found Elena's protective attitudes annoying and here's my proof :)

Elena made everyone so desperate to find a way that noone will die, but she practically left the werewolf and vampire choice to Klaus. She is like "I don't know them, so they can die, no problem". Like they don't have any families, loved ones, etc. You know how she reacted to Stefan's victim list. Elena is not caring, she is selfish.

They wouldn't have a whole original family nor a witch. It wasn't Elena's fault Stefan killed those people. Stefan was repaying Klaus for the cure for Damon. Also it was John's choice to give his life to Elena, not Elena's choice. So it wasn't Elena's fault those people died.

@mgc26133 Klaus compelled Stefan way after the sacrifice.So if Klaus died, Elijah wouldn't know where his family was. There would be not reunion with the originals, not the original witch. Elena rather die, then to see Bonnie or who ever else she loves dies. So she isn't selfish. She new she was going to die, and she didn't mind. Elena rather die then any of her love ones.

She was willing to die, if that meant her family and friends would stay safe. So her family and friends should appreciate her. I mean she could have ran like Katherine,and they all would be dead. If Stefan remembered the memories,it wouldn't mean much considering Klaus would be dead and Rebekah was dead. He also would hate himself for killing those people.

Damon killed both of Klaus' witches :) he is bad ass.. I wish he wasn't the one to take Elena back, things could turn out much differently. Perhaps he'd run to Elijah with his vampire speed and push him away while he was holding Klaus' heart.. Absolute death!
Besides the point, I don't understand one thing. Elijah said Klaus can sire his own bloodline and build his own race. But if the lycanthropic trait can only be delivered by genes and vampires cannot procreate, how is he supposed to do that?

Lol that's an even bigger laugh on account of Anna being dead for some time now & Jeremy persued Bonnie at first, not the other way around. Besides, he was with Vicky 1st, not Anna so Vicky might feel more entitled. Bonnie is the strongest, most interesting female character on the show. She seems 2 be the most loving & LOYAL so try looking beyond the surface!

She also addressed it in an interview. Kat & the other actors of TVD, including the producers were at a panel, answering fans questions & Kevin Williams defended Kat about the negativity she faces from playing Bonnie.
