'Not one of us' could simply mean, not a rich, conservative bible thumper.
I love the guy's question of, 'so if you don't have kids and a mortgage you can't represent the suburbs?'
Regardless of race, saying 'It's different, don't listen to it, trust it, or look beyond the differences.' Is an absurd, primitive concept which causes a sizable chunk of the world's problems.
is this the same Minnesota GOP that supports Michelle Bachmann, a woman who uses McCarthy tactics 50 years to root out people who are not pro american?
May I give a string high-five to Minnesota's local media for running those troglodytes through through the coals. I have family in Minnesota, and I know folks in Minnesota, and racism is not what Minnesota is about. The state is well educated and its people are generally open minded and tolerant.
I don't like the democrats since I've studied history but one thing I can say is they know how to play the game, Repubs still don't get it and don't even know how to fake it.
I'm a student in St Peter who volunteers for the DFL and would never vote for Paulsen, but this is a bit of a stretch.
It all might be racial, I won't deny that. But of course they'll probably say he's one of them, there's a generational gap for one. When Paulsen got first elected Madia was getting his driver's license.
Most people aren't Marines nor would they work pro bono. There are dozens of commonalities but he is exceptional. But IMO then he's more qualified, I'm sick of bozos.
"He's not like us" and "He's one of them" = Racist Code words. Why not just call him uppity? And Republicans have the nerve to talk about how they support Troops when Madia gave more as a Marine than these idiot chickenhawks ever did.

These right wing idiots should just call Madia 'macaca" and get their message out in the open.

A Marine has done more for his country then that fuckwad Paulsen. If that's a "hole" in one's resume, that is sad.
