  • At the part where Henry Bear looks at the honey pots in the cabinet after Mama Bear opens the cabinet, the instrumental sounds like it was composed by Grant Kirkhope, the same guy who composed music for Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie.

  • hahah love it

  • classic

  • Junior sure can take a slug to the face.

  • Somebody call child pretective serivices for the baby bear

  • Redubbed Voices

    Papa Bear: Jim Cummings

    Mama Bear: Joe Alaskey

    Junyer Bear: Stan Freberg

  • LAUGHED MY BUTT OFF..

  • Poor Junior had an abnormally low IQ. Grown ass bear walking around in diapers. Sad but funny.

  • Originally released in May 1949.

    Voices:

    Papa Bear: Billy Bletcher

    Mama Bear: Bea Benaderet

    Junyer Bear: Stan Freberg

  • I loved how the way the 5 bees at 2:22 seemingly looked at Pa Bear, telling him to "Eat me! Go on, I dare ya!"

  • Pa was an ass at 5:12...he deserved, or bee-served what happened to him at 5:52.

BTW Was that last scene with the cupboard supposed to be FUNNY? I'd always thought Chuck Jones meant it not to be funny..

  • @SteveCarras I always thought that was more of a "THATS WHAT HIS GROUCHY ASS GET" moment. For not listening to his WIFE in the first place. Plus this cartoon is a sighn of the times. Unfortunately, THIS is how many people treated their big special needs son. Henry would already be in jail, in today's society.

  • Ma tried to tell Henry that she bought stocked up last year on honey and he didn't listen to her. I agree this is what he gets for not even letting her speak. I just don't know how Ma even puts up with Henry's ill behavior and shennanigans. If I were in her shoes, I would've kicked his ass for it since I wouldn't hit my children.

  • @Oaklandgirlpitlover1 I always looked at this cartoon as a role reversal, usually it's some tiny little spitfire WIFE who bosses her big dumbass husband around and beats on him *just watch Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, etc to see what I mean, but in this cartoon it is the opposite, I never saw Henry as like an abusive husband, he's small and fiesty. Well he IS abusive but no more really than Granny from the Beverlly Hillbillies was always beatin on people and a lot of other WOMEN.

  • My mom acted like Henry the papa bear once when I did a petty mistake

My granddaddy had a personality like mama

Bear when I did something very terribly wrong.

  • @Addiskrilla That's how I always viewed this cartoon, usually it's the WOMAN who acts like Henry, but here it's a role reversal. I think that's what pisses people off, in our culture it's fine for a woman to be a little spitfire and beat on her kid and husband but it's totally taboo for a male to do the same.

  • I kind of fell sorry for Junior Bear. All he wants to do is please his dad and his dad beats the crap out of him for the slightest excuse.

  • @bluecatky I always kinda feel weird when I watch this cartoon, b/c I'm never quite sure who to feel sorry for. I mean yeah Henry beats on Junior all the time, but due to the size difference Junior never seems to be hurt by it and never even seems to notice really. Where as Henry, even though very violent, seems to bein physical danger around Junior all the time and usually always ends up in bandages, his violence never seems to have any effect on anyone.

  • I think they wanted to make Junior the bigger, dumber and most childish member of the three bears. Henry being the short one is the smart, yet violent member of them. His mom is the medium size and the most mellow of them.

  • @ladyfire44 I dont think Henry is too smart really though. I think Ma is prolly the smartest.

  • True. The only thing that makes Henry dumb is his inability to listen to his wife when she told him about the honey.

  • 5:08 THOSE EYES!!!

  • even I have days like this when nothing goes right jus' take either hand rub your face and HAUL OFF " and KA" NOCK da hell out someone,it thing ,AnyBody......& loved ones that really make you go there Peace to all reads this .....AND AGREE!!!

  • The greatest cartoons made! Clever, witty with something for all ages. Much better than any Disney efforts.

  • Hi all

Its a pity that the cartoon misses the start.

The 3 bears are all sitting down for breakfast ready to have some toast with honey.

Junior grabs the honey pot and eats it all.

His dad is infurated as junior has eaten it all, before he could have some.

Mum wants to tell her husband something but is to scared.

Dad has to go get some more honey for his breakfast now.

Knowing the start will make the ending funnier :)

  • "Well! Don't tell me there's no ketchup!" Best quote ever >XD

  • These cartoons are so hilarious! Junior is so big and stupid he can't do anything right. Henry is a pain in the ass and a child abuser. He doesn't appeciate Father's Day! They don't make cartoons like these anymore. Today's cartoons stink.

  • ûhm_ï_fÈÈl_sò_løNElý_tòdÄý

  • Damn, I need a clean copy of this cartoon. It's so...primal! Kinda looks like the relationship between Murry and Brian Wilson.

BTW, I am intrigued by seeing comments of folks born several decades apart, each insisting they were the last folks to be spared the namby-pamby PC watchdogs. There's some research there waiting to be done. All I can say is, thank goodness for web access!

  • Domestic violence at its best.

  • LOVED these as a kid...still do...great stuff!!!

  • Buzz,, Buzz, Buzzzzzzz, Buzz. Pssst Junior. Psst Psst.. Oh that dirty bee, I will mash him. POOWWW !!!!!! LMAFO!!!!!! I can see why Pa was mad, but damn that part was Golden. Too bad they don't make toons like this anymore. Thanks for posting this one Gotaketchumall. U must really like Pokemon with that name. It's actually clever. I like playing Duel Monsters myself from Yu-Gi-Oh. Later

  • This is CLASSIC! I remember this being one of my FAVORITE cartoons as a kid. Now, we have cartoons that promote "sensitive" subjects. It's true - we've become a nation of panzies. Everything can't always be "warm milk and a blanket".

  • does anyboby know where you find the episode where paw and baby bear go fishing? been looking-cant find it.

  • does anyboby know where you find the episode where paw and baby bear go fishing?

  • But Henry. The voices are wonderful.

  • 5:06...LOL! Bleach reference! Henry hollowfied. No wonder Baby-Bear's terrified... Great classic cartoon. A shame there aren't more like it nowadays.

  • only a people hit someone's head with a shovel

  • Papa Bear is an abusive father! LOL

  • henry say what have he ever done to deserve such a family?the answer is his anger

  • I've wondered if Pa had a normal sized SMALL child if he would still beat him?

  • but Henry............

    SHADDUP!!

  • Next time Pa, use condoms. lol.

  • 4:57..You can see Jr.'s fear for his father's anger..hahahaha...

  • 4:49 when all the bees hit the door used to freak me out as a kid

  • LOL!!! @ 3:32 and 3:01 I WONDER WHO SUFFER THE MOST..JUNIOR OR HENRY? They cartoons always have me cracking up

  • LOLLOLLL @ 3:01 . I WONDER WHO SUFFERS THE MOST..JR OR HENRY? AND 3:32..JR ON THE GROUND ACTING LIKE HE WALKING A TIGHT ROPE

  • Long live the Looney tunes.

  • The Three Bears are probably the funniest characters Looney Tunes characters, in my opinion. But I've always hated the fact that the father constantly punches his son in the face. I mean Junior is his son, and he's so lovable! I couldn't bring myself to punch him in the face over and over like that. As a child, I always thought Junior was as stupid as he is because his father constantly hit him in the head. I'd hug the crap out of Junior.

Nonetheless, twisted and funny, and a true classic!

  • But henry....

  • @supreme199999 SHADDAP!!!!!!!!!! Sorry I just had to lol

  • I've worked out why Henry is so pissed off.He has a seven year old retard kid who is still in nappies. Can you imagine having to change Baby's nappy with a ten kilo shit in it?His schlong is probably twice as large as Henry's.To top it all,he hasn't gotten laid since baby was born,Poor Momma bear's vag must have been torn to shreds trying to give birth to the retard. Now probably even an elephant would have trouble filling the gap.

  • @laiosto wow..such an analysis!...LOL.

  • Henry's such an asshole.

  • @jptheguitardude Damn straight. He's funny as hell but he's a straight up, first class, short-tempered, mean as a snake, surely, curmudgeonly, violent, no good asshole of a husband AND father especially. And he talking about, "What did I ever do to deserve such a family?". Well.....HE'S A FREAKIN' DOUCHEBAG.

  • my favourite characters.Papa bear knocked up Momma bear in High School and is now paying the price of his lust.He reminds me of a proto-Al Bundy from the 1940's.

  • @laiosto People have compared Henry to Al Bundy, Archie Bunker but to ME he is like Mel Sharples from Alice. Almos tthe same voice and all.

  • Yo me gusta gestos de Oso Bebe.

  • Even Baby Bear's diaper is hilarious, those huge square knots! Don't want to think what it's like to change him, though.

  • the moms voice is so tarded lol

  • 3:20 WOW i mean wow thats one angry dad JUST kill the kid why dont ya >_>

    5:50 PAYBACK B&^$*

  • The 1 person who dislikes this video is Henry aka Papa bear.

  • wonder if Eminem was ever influenced by Papa Bear's actions?

  • This is so funny and a classic

  • Wasn't there a follow up cartoon where the bears are trying out for the circus? I definitely remember seeing them in another similar type of set up.

  • Oh Shit! 02:22

  • The little bear is VikingHeritage and the big bear is R3ST0N, ROFLMAO!! XDD

  • Cartoons began to suck since 2000. These always made my day.

  • @joeywomer Cartoon television in general started to suck after 2000.

  • Hey mate the year was 1949 ;-)

  • i thought at one point in these cartoons "henry" or the papa bear does a great facepalm (he starts at his eyes and wiopes his face really hard down to the chin) when he's getting ready to punch/kick the baby bear. it wasn't in this or the other posted clip :( anyone rememeebr what im talking about? its the best facepalm from tv ever

  • What did I ever do to deserve such a family? LOL

  • @spiritgirl41192 Yup, that's the exact same thing my mom used to ask whenever me and my sisters gave her grief by misbehaving, which was often. miss u mom RIP

  • Baby bear was the earlyer version Of Baby Huey

  • classic cartoons are the best ever d((♥_♥))b

  • Beyond hilarious, ww2 ex shur-pah?! Pipe. Tobacco TNT! didn't we all live with red "foreman"? Crassic!

  • Images of child abuse all throughout this cartoon.

  • @TheTallMan35 2:44 i mean really thats domestic violence

  • @TheTallMan35

Especially abuse by the child, Junyer is too destructive for his own good.

  • Originally released in May 1949. Billy Bletcher is "Papa", Stan Freberg is "Junyer", and Bea Benaderet is "Mama". Mike Maltese wrote this one....Chuck Jones directed.

  • I've always suspected that the reason junior appears to be borderline retarded is that Henry punches him in the head several times per episode. I swear, someone should call child services.

  • THAT IS ONE ANGRY PAPA BEAR

  • @dogooda YOU SAY SO, DOC!!!

  • Cartoons are nothing like this anymore. And I grew up watch these Cartoons and I'm only 20.

  • Talk about a disfunctional family.....but its funny as hell!

  • But Henry...What will the neighbours think????

Enjoy the videos here as long as you can.... Many of them are being pulled, even after 50 years being in the public domain.

  • If they include part of the episode in one of those new compilations then they take it down from youtube. It's like the Looney Bugs Bunny movie, it sucked, included only a few minutes of sketches from like 50 episodes and because of that they can delete all the youtube episodes. I don't even think WB ever came up with a decent uncut episodes collection at all. All were cut, edited, and the banned episodes were never included.

  • What did I ever do to deserve such a family? LMAO

  • Pa bear is a lot more better than both Homer Simpson and that fat oaf Peter Griffin.

  • 3:00 to 3:30- the funniest half minute in cartoon history!

  • @omahabee

the effort dad put into the return shovel hit was amazing!

so incorrect these days, but I dont care, I laughed my ass off

  • The year is 1949. It's on Wikipedia.

  • Been looking everywhere for this classic - thanks for the upload. LOVE the ending to this!

  • Not to be an assshole, but I need to know when did the three bears came out on DVD. If there's a website that that lists old Warner Brothers cartoon DVD collections I'd l ike to know.

  • To DaFuckyouat: To be specific, the episode "Bear Feat" was included in the Looney Tunes Golden collection DVD 6... if only people did some research they wouldn't make fool of themselves. Now put your money where your mouth is, and buy it.

  • Anyone have their cartoon called Bear Feat? Stone-cold classic. I could only find a spanish-dubbed version. Anyone have the english version?

  • @phillyphil690 Bear Feat was available not too long ago, but it has been removed several times. I believe it's due to the fact that it's commercial, and this one isn't at the time. If they decided to include this one in one of their future DVDs, it would be removed from youtube right away.

  • Right, Bear Feat appears in the Looney Tunes Golden Collection DVD 6.

  • Absolute classic.

  • I'm trying to find their appearence from tiny toons.

  • 4:35 - LMAO!!!!!

  • this is just grade A humor right here!!!!!!!

  • What a classic line... "Better not tell me there is NO ketchup!!!!!"

Geeze, after all these years and most of us adults did not go crazy and blow up things, huh???

  • I don't understand why the 'CARTOON' Network doesn't replay these. I guess these old school 'toons aren't politically correct and God knows how touchy those pc babies are.

  • I think CN should play all the classic cartoon again regardless of what everyone says.

  • @ladyfire44 It is such a shame that some oversensative people ruined these cartoons by demanding that they be edited for "racial, violence, or offensive content. But most cartoons today (Simpsons, Family Guy South Park, etc) are so BLATANT about poking fun at these offensive subjects and it is protected by freedom of expression.

  • I agree. I grew up in the 90's and never had to endure this problem. I hate oversensitive people.

  • A classic! Papa Bear was in serious need of an intervention. Gotta give the kid credit, though. For being an abused, incontinent, vegetable, he certainly got his licks in.

  • I often wondered that Papa Bear(Henry) would do if he had a daughter instead of Junyer. Would he hit her the same way if she screwed up?

  • I've wondered the same thing.

What gets me about people who claim to be AGAINST being politially correct, they laugh about him hitting his son but would probably have a FIT if he hit his big dumb daughter.

  • Not only that, but his wife, Mama Bear, probably will kick his ass if he ever hurt his own daughter. In the end, Henry would have to put up with it because she still will be his daddy's little girl and he'll love her.

  • @ladyfire44 He might not hit her as much, but he'd prolly still go off on her, he goes of on Ma quite a bit.

  • im 15 and the cartoons today arent good like these cartoons

  • Remember the episode.... .... D O G spells Rhode Island. Just awesome!!

  • What the hell happened to cartoons in the last 15 years? I'm not even 30, and I would watch these cartoons every Saturday morning as well as other classics like Tom and Jerry. Man, the self-esteem movement really turned kids into a bunch of pussies. Parents don't discipline their kids anymore and you can only show 'non-violent' cartoons, because they say 'it encourages violence'. What a load of crap. Thanks for posting this classic and thank god for you tube.

  • Preach on, brother! You are SO right! I just turned 40, and say the same thing all the time.

  • @ChiTown7721

    Dude, I couldnt agree more!

  • @ChiTown7721 im 16 and i stilll watch these cause no cartoon can beat them

  • Oh this is a riot...especially when Papa Bear buzzes "Rock a Bye Baby" whenever a bee is on his nose. Been looking for this--thanks!!

  • @wlbaz he's a idiot. silly and the way he talk

  • whats the exact name of this Looney Tunes cartoon?

  • Bee-Deviled Bruin

  • I would never marry someone as crazy and mean and violent like papa bear!!!!!!!!!!!

  • They were the Simpsons of their day.

  • Pa has some anger issues! Especially at the end!

  • its not as funny as the others "bear feat" for example is just genius!

  • I love the beesting swollen face at 4.52

  • Pa Bear Henry reminds me of my dad

  • OMG! My gut hurts from laughing so hard!!

  • where's winnie the pooh when you need him.

  • Isn't that Bea Benaderet's voice as Mama Bear?

  • Yes, thats Bea Benaderet.

  • They sort of remind me of Ed, Edd n' Eddy.

  • Junior is so retarded!

  • Excellent! LOL ROFLMAO!!!

  • all the 3 bears cartoons are classics!

  • this released in 1949.

  • Great humor on theses oldies. I don't know who is dummer, Junior or Papa Bear who keeps on trying using Junior to try and acomplish the tasks.

And you're right Carbon. This is pure slapstick.

  • I believe the problem lies is the fact that Henri doesn't have anybody else to rely on besides his idiotic son Junior.

  • 1:56 to 2:04 ROTFL!!!!!

  • You kids today are too huggy kissy spoiled. Anyone 45 up can relate to these cartoons. Thank God and Chuck jones for these.

  • These cartoons were originally intended for ADULTS not children.

  • Very very true. Like the part when Daffy Duck says to Porky Pig,"come on, come on!, get the lead out!'. He then pulls out a piece of lead. But it goes waaaay deeper than that. Looney Tunes cartoons are Bizzare! :)

  • SHAAAAADAP !!!!!!!!!!

  • The BEST!

This is truly the best 3 bears cartoon made. I honestly dislike the father's day one, and I dunno what people see in it, but this one is the best!

  • Same here. I this one along with the cartoon which featured the three bears and Bugs makes an appearance on.

  • Oh that dirty bee! I will mash him!

  • PAW: Ennnnugh! WHANG! lol

  • and the end; i always kinda went Ow when I saw that.

  • this is my favorite episode of looney toons The Three bears..glad some uploaded this

  • pgy002 I think it is hilarious and I would not like it if I saw the Beverly Hillbillies granny smacking people any more than I do not like or dislike it here, it is fictional nonetheless. I have seen so many old comedies and cartoon which are very violent, you don't see me attacking the person who hits, I usually laugh but in real life I would not laugh at all, no matter how you put it in real life it is abuse but this is not real, so do enjoy! ;) People are allowed to their opinions too :)

  • And I don't know why people give Pa bear such BAD comments but people think Granny is HILARIOUS when she beats on big DUMB Jethro.

  • But I think this is the FIRST cartoon to feature a tiny little GUY dominating bigger people and bigger people showing FEAR toward him, usually it's some tiny little fiesty woman dominating everyone and the tiny little guy is always the wimp who gets bullied and pushed around, but here it's the opposite. In fact there is a bear cartoon similar to THIS where the MOTHER is the bossy harsh one.

  • A lot of people hate on Pa bear a LOT for hitting, and yelling at his family, BUT I don't see that that's much different than Granny on the Beverly Hillbillies slapping everyone around all the time.

  • That's what you get father bear! 4:49 LOL

  • @VideoClipsForBabies Yeah. He should've listened to Mama Bear instead of blindly following his own instincts!

  • 5:51-Serves him right for mistreating Junyer!

  • Hard to find, I used to have the whole thing on tape but it got erased by accident :(

  • Been looking for this one,,thank you!

  • This episode begins with the classic "once upon a time in the deep woods there lived 3 bears: papa bear, mama bear and baby bear"

8 Toasts pop out of the toaster and land on the plate mama bear is holding. She moves forward to the table where baby bear (Junior) grabs all of them, then dad hits his hand making them all scatter on the table. Junior grabs one toast and smears honey onto it leaving the jar empty. Then (as you can see) papa bear unleashes his anger and smacks him once more! :(
