At the part where Henry Bear looks at the honey pots in the cabinet after Mama Bear opens the cabinet, the instrumental sounds like it was composed by Grant Kirkhope, the same guy who composed music for Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie.
@SteveCarras I always thought that was more of a "THATS WHAT HIS GROUCHY ASS GET" moment. For not listening to his WIFE in the first place. Plus this cartoon is a sighn of the times. Unfortunately, THIS is how many people treated their big special needs son. Henry would already be in jail, in today's society.
Ma tried to tell Henry that she bought stocked up last year on honey and he didn't listen to her. I agree this is what he gets for not even letting her speak. I just don't know how Ma even puts up with Henry's ill behavior and shennanigans. If I were in her shoes, I would've kicked his ass for it since I wouldn't hit my children.
@Oaklandgirlpitlover1 I always looked at this cartoon as a role reversal, usually it's some tiny little spitfire WIFE who bosses her big dumbass husband around and beats on him *just watch Everybody Loves Raymond, King of Queens, etc to see what I mean, but in this cartoon it is the opposite, I never saw Henry as like an abusive husband, he's small and fiesty. Well he IS abusive but no more really than Granny from the Beverlly Hillbillies was always beatin on people and a lot of other WOMEN.
@Addiskrilla That's how I always viewed this cartoon, usually it's the WOMAN who acts like Henry, but here it's a role reversal. I think that's what pisses people off, in our culture it's fine for a woman to be a little spitfire and beat on her kid and husband but it's totally taboo for a male to do the same.
@bluecatky I always kinda feel weird when I watch this cartoon, b/c I'm never quite sure who to feel sorry for. I mean yeah Henry beats on Junior all the time, but due to the size difference Junior never seems to be hurt by it and never even seems to notice really. Where as Henry, even though very violent, seems to bein physical danger around Junior all the time and usually always ends up in bandages, his violence never seems to have any effect on anyone.
I think they wanted to make Junior the bigger, dumber and most childish member of the three bears. Henry being the short one is the smart, yet violent member of them. His mom is the medium size and the most mellow of them.
even I have days like this when nothing goes right jus' take either hand rub your face and HAUL OFF " and KA" NOCK da hell out someone,it thing ,AnyBody......& loved ones that really make you go there Peace to all reads this .....AND AGREE!!!

This is CLASSIC! I remember this being one of my FAVORITE cartoons as a kid. Now, we have cartoons that promote "sensitive" subjects. It's true - we've become a nation of panzies. Everything can't always be "warm milk and a blanket".
The Three Bears are probably the funniest characters Looney Tunes characters, in my opinion. But I've always hated the fact that the father constantly punches his son in the face. I mean Junior is his son, and he's so lovable! I couldn't bring myself to punch him in the face over and over like that. As a child, I always thought Junior was as stupid as he is because his father constantly hit him in the head. I'd hug the crap out of Junior.
Nonetheless, twisted and funny, and a true classic!
I've worked out why Henry is so pissed off.He has a seven year old retard kid who is still in nappies. Can you imagine having to change Baby's nappy with a ten kilo shit in it?His schlong is probably twice as large as Henry's.To top it all,he hasn't gotten laid since baby was born,Poor Momma bear's vag must have been torn to shreds trying to give birth to the retard. Now probably even an elephant would have trouble filling the gap.
@jptheguitardude Damn straight. I've always suspected that the reason junior appears to be borderline retarded is that Henry punches him in the head several times per episode. I swear, someone should call child services.
If they include part of the episode in one of those new compilations then they take it down from youtube. It's like the Looney Bugs Bunny movie, it sucked, included only a few minutes of sketches from like 50 episodes and because of that they can delete all the youtube episodes. @phillyphil690 Bear Feat was available not too long ago, but it has been removed several times. I believe it's due to the fact that it's commercial, and this one isn't at the time. If they decided to include this one in one of their future DVDs, it would be removed from youtube right away.

Parents don't discipline their kids anymore and you can only show 'non-violent' cartoons, because they say 'it encourages violence'. What a load of crap. Thanks for posting this classic and thank god for you tube.
Very very true. Like the part when Daffy Duck says to Porky Pig,"come on, come on!, get the lead out!'. He then pulls out a piece of lead. But it goes waaaay deeper than that. Looney Tunes cartoons are Bizzare! :)
pgy002 I think it is hilarious and I would not like it if I saw the Beverly Hillbillies granny smacking people any more than I do not like or dislike it here, it is fictional nonetheless. I have seen so many old comedies and cartoon which are very violent, you don't see me attacking the person who hits, I usually laugh but in real life I would not laugh at all, no matter how you put it in real life it is abuse but this is not real, so do enjoy! ;) People are allowed to their opinions too :)
But I think this is the FIRST cartoon to feature a tiny little GUY dominating bigger people and bigger people showing FEAR toward him, usually it's some tiny little fiesty woman dominating everyone and the tiny little guy is always the wimp who gets bullied and pushed around, but here it's the opposite. In fact there is a bear cartoon similar to THIS where the MOTHER is the bossy harsh one.
A lot of people hate on Pa bear a LOT for hitting, and yelling at his family, BUT I don't see that that's much different than Granny on the Beverly Hillbillies slapping everyone around all the time.
This episode begins with the classic "once upon a time in the deep woods there lived 3 bears: papa bear, mama bear and baby bear"
8 Toasts pop out of the toaster and land on the plate mama bear is holding. She moves forward to the table where baby bear (Junior) grabs all of them, then dad hits his hand making them all scatter on the table. Junior grabs one toast and smears honey onto it leaving the jar empty. Then (as you can see) papa bear unleashes his anger and smacks him once more! :(
At the part where Henry Bear looks at the honey pots in the cabinet after Mama Bear opens the cabinet, the instrumental sounds like it was composed by Grant Kirkhope, the same guy who composed music for Donkey Kong 64, Banjo Kazooie and Banjo Tooie.

Hi all
Its a pity that the cartoon misses the start.
The 3 bears are all sitting down for breakfast ready to have some toast with honey.
Junior grabs the honey pot and eats it all.
His dad is infurated as junior has eaten it all, before he could have some.
Mum wants to tell her husband something but is to scared.
Dad has to go get some more honey for his breakfast now.
Knowing the start will make the ending funnier :)

Great humor on theses oldies. I don't know who is dummer, Junior or Papa Bear who keeps on trying using Junior to try and acomplish the tasks.
And you're right Carbon. This is pure slapstick.

I believe the problem lies is the fact that Henri doesn't have anybody else to rely on besides his idiotic son Junior.

Very very true. Like the part when Daffy Duck says to Porky Pig,"come on, come on!, get the lead out!'. He then pulls out a piece of lead. But it goes waaaay deeper than that. Looney Tunes cartoons are Bizzare! :)

The BEST!
This is truly the best 3 bears cartoon made. I honestly dislike the father's day one, and I dunno what people see in it, but this one is the best!

pgy002 I think it is hilarious and I would not like it if I saw the Beverly Hillbillies granny smacking people any more than I do not like or dislike it here, it is fictional nonetheless. I have seen so many old comedies and cartoon which are very violent, you don't see me attacking the person who hits, I usually laugh but in real life I would not laugh at all, no matter how you put it in real life it is abuse but this is not real, so do enjoy! ;) People are allowed to their opinions too :)
molokaicreeper 3 years ago 3
And I don't know why people give Pa bear such BAD comments but people think Granny is HILARIOUS when she beats on big DUMB Jethro.
pgy002 3 years ago
But I think this is the FIRST cartoon to feature a tiny little GUY dominating bigger people and bigger people showing FEAR toward him, usually it's some tiny little fiesty woman dominating everyone and the tiny little guy is always the wimp who gets bullied and pushed around, but here it's the opposite. In fact there is a bear cartoon similar to THIS where the MOTHER is the bossy harsh one.
pgy002 3 years ago
A lot of people hate on Pa bear a LOT for hitting, and yelling at his family, BUT I don't see that that's much different than Granny on the Beverly Hillbillies slapping everyone around all the time.

That's what you get father bear! 4:49 LOL
