Hey, when I open this program, along with many other sadx programs, I immediately get a "SADXLVL.EXE has stopped working" error. no further info is given... help??? ^^'

@L33tTako I'm afraid I can't help you. I suggest asking MainMemory, the creator of this program.

Have you installed NET Framework 3.5 and DirectX runtime?

@11Supersonic11 yes, I have both updated to the latest version, It seems to happen only with MainMemory's programs. Thank you for the reply, I'll see if he can help.

@11Supersonic11 one more thing since today all the sadxlvl's I have in my two PC's started to not respond, so they open up and they stay stuck! And my Windows closes the program How do I fix this?

Man, I've been wanting to edit levels in SADX for a LONG time! I finally found this, but it gives me an error as soon as I try to load it up! :( Can you help?

@kyllian1212 Hmm. Well, what exe are you using? I can't get Sadxlvl to load 'sonic - superfix.exe' [MainMemory's superfix exe, also us crack]. Although it does load EU retail and EU cracked. So I'd say try another exe, it might work.

Can you help me? I use a mac and I am trying to import a model that is in b3d format into blender. Blender does not support b3d files, and I cannot export the b3d file into another format that it will accept. What can I do?

I can't find the right ini file, which do I open? I tried using Sonic RDX and Sonic DX Demo A but I can't find the right .ini file.

@randomxfirerecording copy the sonic.exe.ini file that came with sadxlvl to the place with your sonic.exe.

open it, and inside you'll find "sonic.exe" near the beggining. change it to the name of your exe if it isn't sonic.

a bit lower is US. if you exe is the US, let it like that. if it's european change to EU.

if it's not either then sorry.

@AutomailHeaven It's very possible right now. Also I'd say take a look at Dude's channel, he has an fantastic hack called Sonic RDX, which includes new levels. Or at least completely "remixed" levels.

@11Supersonic11 This is awesome. Now what would be REALLY cool for someone to do would be to crack the animation code so people can import their own animations/models.

@AutomailHeaven Importing your own character models is possible, cause they are split in pieces. You can just import a new model over each piece.

@AutomailHeaven Another thing is the animation was already cracked. They're viewable in sadxmdl, although somewhat broken at times. While sadxmdl can't edit animations as of yet, they're able to be edited in Hex Workshop provided you take the time to research the format and learn it like I did. The biggest issue with this is it's very confusing to edit it without a way to view them, and it's hard to understand what does what since the animation format is atrocious.
