if u do, be prepared to work on it some what a lot. if you put the money into it youll be fine, but ur looking into spending a lot. ive known people with rangers that have broken down several times and needs tows home till they got the right set up. if you dont want problems get a taco. they will last you forever. or... be unique. get a 98 expedtion. im saveing up to long travel mine. so just be aware on what type of rig you get. thats to anyone whos reading this.

If you look at the average pre runner they are going to have beams just because you get the desired travel at half the cost. The steering does fade BARELY and the average driver would never be able to tell. Arms on the other hand do fade but it is not as bad and the only way to get that long travel is to do center mount the A arms :sets you back about 10 grand. Thats the best option but its also the most costly to get center mounted A arms. Look for whats best for you and your wallet.

ur truck has A arms so you wont get as much travel out of it as you would with I beams but they do make a good coilover kit that works pretty good on rangers with arms and not beams otherwise in order to charge it in the dirt you will need so custom work
