  • In the Necronomicon Astaroth called like a demon, Inanna still called like Goddess. Who knows the truth?

  • still believing in demons? :o)))

  • Blessed mother watch over us

  • Sooo Sad!!!!!

    Why????

  • Beautiful.

  • Nutjert Asha-renu

but Isis is not a demon ^^

  • Then again Christians fucked it up later on to

  • I think when the middle east stoped Worshiping Inanna thats when things went down hill for them Thank you Islam

  • To the women of the middle east....Read Ann Rices book "Queen of the Damned", take up arms for yourself embody the Goddess, take back your country, let the men know that no more blood will be shed but theirs, if they dont stop with their killing of women and children!!!!! YOU HAVE NO MASTER ON EARTH!! Love yourselves, protect your babies, but let no man strike or harm you again!!!!!! Blessed Be to you I love you and pray to the Great Shekinah for your freedom!!!!!!

  • @popparoach420 AMEN Preach Sisters you have rise up and take back power

  • so beautiful. that my heart hurts

  • This is a beautiful song, but the comments are wrong about Lilith.

Please do your correct research about Her and don't just accept what Christianity has to say about Her, as Christianity is full of lies and nothing is true in that religion.

Also Inanna and Astarte are the same Goddesses but under a different name, they are the Goddess Astaroth whom also goes by the name of Isis.

JoyofSatandotcom ->She is under the Demons.

  • lilith or lilitu was called the hand of innana, she was a protecter of women especially prostitutes.

lilith was borrowed by christianity as adams first wife, who refused to submit to him. this story is largely unaccepted nowadays and its believed eve was adams wife.

ive noticed in a few comments that people have got these two seperate mythologies mixed together. sumeria is supposedly the oldest civilisation known therefore it vastly predated the creation of christianity

  • wonderful:))) very stirring - blessed be

  • beautiful! enchanting!

  • Your video is beautiful...the Goddess is Love but Innana isn't. She is evil actually. She went to the Underworld to gain power over our souls and to steal the throne from her “sister” Ereshkigal to become "Queen" of Heaven. Hera’s garden was Hesperides, of the golden apples, and it was from this garden that the story of our planet originated. For Hera, Innana tortured a gorgeous innocent named Lillith and used her, as a sex slave, to tempt Adam to sin against Eve and become lustful.

  • @angelwings1019 and it was eve that was tempted smart one

  • @angelwings1019 man is weaker for he fell for a womens favor not tempted doesnt this make men more ill willed?

  • Hera/Innana/Ishtar/Astarte were the same woman in different cultures creating a plan to deceive the world to gain control over all of us. She was the evil goddess who wanted child sacrifices all through ancient history. She was a copycat of Isis/Hathor/Aphrodite/Mary Magdalene and the reason Jesus who is also Adonis(Adonai), Horus and Dionysus, was brutally murdered. Esu Immanuel willingly gave his life to rescue all of us to remind humanity of what real love really is.

  • @angelwings1019 dude your comments are so long!!!

  • Inanna and Ishtar were some of the evil gods and goddesses who accepted child sacrifices. She was a copycat and the reason Jesus/Adonis/Horus/Dionysus...same man...had to die to rescue all of us. She is the Great Prostitute. All she cared about was sex and power over all of your souls.

  • Did you know that Inanna tortured a beautiful woman named Lillith and turned her into a sex slave in order to control Adam so she could gain power over all humans? She was a power hungry, evil woman...an incarnation of Hera...Queen of Jealousy...these two are the enemy of the Family of Light...and Aphrodite and Isis. Look her up on Wikipedia.

  • @angelwings1019 lilith you are wrong int he story adam would not give equality to lilith her real name lilherumora... she left and became Lucifers wife and told her to go to ishtar and inanna then to eve... Lilith is the queen of vampires as in legend says.

  • @angelwings1019 and i got my information from ancient texts not the internet OR wikipedia... Wikipedia can be messed with I actually read ancient articles. and one day i will become an archeologist

  • Did you know that Inanna tortured a beautiful woman named Lillith and turned her into a sex slave in order to control Adam so she could gain power over all humans? • Beautiful.

  • many countries from the middle eastern have a beautiful unique history.. but islam destroyed them culture and language..destroyed everything..countries under islamic rule always will be in conflicts and poverty

  • @iFALX Learn history!

  • The story of Inanna and Tammuz is also reflected in the tale of Isis and Osiris, and even Jesus and Mary Magdalene...

She is the Ancient one, 'Nana of the Caravans'

I love this song, I dont have to understand the words - the voice is evokative.

    Truly beautiful!

  • Innana is the sumerian goddess of sex, fertility and love.

  • Innana/Ininn is sumerien, Ishtar/Astarte is babylonian/ assyrian, but she can be called in both ways.

  • This is not about Ishtar..., this is an aramaic song about the suffering of the Assyrian people of Iraq, who are the real owners of the land.

The song portrays the suffering of these people, because the Muslim Kurds are taking their land from them, and the Muslim Arabs are destroy their churches and heritage.

The song ends with a Christian prayer, for the Assyrians and reminds them of their savior and their duty to be Jesus's apostles, even when surrounded by evil.

  • Just because they are christian, doesn't mean they own the land too...

  • What Ishtar ? some comments are so stupid.

This is an Assyrian/Christian lamentation in Iraq.

  • so let it be. the goddess has so many names. let them call her as they wish. and don't say it's stupid, you don't know anything about the intention of the comments and their writers.

  • lisababy85; in many stories she is Married to Tammuz, the God of sheperds. In one account Tammuz is sent to the underworld to act as a ferry for the recently deceased, in place of Ishtar/Inanna. It's in an epic that roughly translates as "the Descent of Ishtar"

  • it was this video that made me think deeply about the War in Iraq; about the needless, mindless aggression. May Inanna/Ishtar/Astarte be ever blessed for opening my heart and mind. Glory to The Goddess!

  • inanna ishtar door exist in irak somebody should go and call upon her in front 0f her door in babylon

  • Beautiful lament. I don't understand the words, but I feel it like a very ancient lament for something very dear that was lost.

  • Very beautiful and moving. Thank you for sharing this beauty with us all.

    Blessed Be'.

    Lifeflame

  • Very beautiful!;) Blessed Be!

  • Last Lamentation of Ur:

Why does Innana abandon her people?

    She leaves them to suffer.

    She leaves them unsure.

Nothing is as it was to be.

When will Uruk return to her glory?

When will the Tummal be rebuilt?

    But it cannot be-

The True God unleashed His fury.

  • amazing, really moving. It's a very sad and tragic thing how the children and women of Iraq were harmed by this war, both by US soldiers and the fanatical islamist terrorists who blow up the bombs on the markets and streets.

Does anybody have lyrics for this prayer (as it' a prayer to Inanna I think)?? Is translation available? Is it a historical prayer or a new one? What language is it sung in?

With Slavic Pagan words of support from Poland

  • Another beautiful song, truly a gift. May peace come one day.

Hail Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth

  • Isn´t Inanna a pagan godess (like roman venus) ?

  • Yes but she is also very protective of her children! :D And is also a goddess of war...

    )O(

  • was she married to Mars?

  • no she wasn't married to mars. In ancient sumeria and babylon she originally had the traits of mars, she was the goddess of the love. (The morning star other wise know as planet venus visable at sunrise) and she took on the war persona. (The evening star venus that appears at night)! hope that helps

  • Kisslamia is right. And she also has still some traits of the Mother Goddess, including an aggressive sexuality, much more than the later semitic (Babylonian) Ishtar with whom she was identified then. But pagan? This depends on what you want to call pagan. This Queen of Heaven, or any subsequent or later Queen of Heaven. There is a wide choice.

  • thanks for this song and your dedication to those who suffer deeply in every war
