true enough I guess and even if they don't age in the show I think in my mind they are all growing up. I think that has more to do with the fact that I kind of grew up with it and I felt that i was growing up with him for the longest time.. But then that's what Fanfiction is all about.. :) and I looked it up after I wrote that comment so I know your right. though it said that Misty actually is slightly older than Ash.

i noticed that almost all the girls look like they are older than ten..its kind of funny that way..and while i don't know for sure if they are or not I think they are older than ten..I also think that ash has aged since the beginning of the show..it would be weird if they kept him at ten forever..

@Terrorj1501 i actually looked this up not long after i wrote that comment and Misty isn't ten she is 13. she is the oldest girl that ever travels with ash. I found that on a site all about Pokemon. but the other girls are ten. I guess we won't ever know for sure how old she is though cause other places say she is ten. though i don't think a ten year old would end up being a gym leader.
