It seems so touching, but how many calories were burned by cycling that distance, and what was the energy cost compared to flying - not to mention cargo ships, which are hardly 'carbon neutral' (god I hate that phrase).

Don't kid yourselves people, we're not that destructive to the Earth. It wouldn't have mattered in the least had she flown. The Enviromental movement isn't about "saving the planet" as much as it is about making you feel guilty above living and scamming you for new "fees"ie CARBON CREDITS,that go to more policies that take away your freedoms.
