Good job on filming this video of the capital area. I am from Haiti and I never had a chance to see Port-Au-Prince like this. I usually rush from the airport to the provinces. Because of the security issue, I spend most of my time in Jacmel whenever I am in Haiti. Nice Choice of music to go along with the video. It's good that us Haitian are showing our side of Haiti as we know it with it's diversity, historical monuments and vibrant lifestyle.
Being a misinformed American, I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised at the beauty and nice places that I am viewing on this video. I feel the warmth of this place. I have been to other Caribbean Islands before, but never to Haiti because of negative things I heard! Being from south Florida, I have many Haitian neighbors and I have nothing but love and admiration for Haitians! So nightly I am burdened with the sorrow of what happened to Haiti as if it were my own people. God bless Haiti
This clip is so sad to watch, knowing that much of this beautiful city is now in rubbles. I don't know much about P-au-P since I lived and grew up in Les Cayes, but one thing is certain it was a very beautiful place even though that beauty was not found everywhere in the city. I am praying and hoping that this beautiful capital and my beautiful Haiti would one day be rebuild. RIP to those who died in the earthquake and my prayers are with their families and all others affected by this tragedy.
I'm all in tears as i watched this knowing many of the people walking are now dead, under the rubble or injured to the brink of death. My thoughts and prayers are with Haiti.
Very nice video - i like the music too. I hope Haiti recovers from this terrible tragedy. Its so disheartening when something like this happens to a nation that already had a lot to deal with.
We've never been to Haiti. But this was a very beautiful illustration of the sights of Haiti. How precious this clip is and very heart wrenching to think it was shot so recently. If we only knew then what we know now we'd take more appreciation of whats around us. God bless you all and be strong in his might. Hold on to the memories and keep the heritage alive. Please look forward to an even greater day in Haiti; with your deep rich history, your future can only be greater.
After watching this clip and watching the news on TV its hard to believe its the same place Bless you all that live their and may you all have strength to carry on with life>
Haiti is a real beauitful country; In this video does Haiti no justice, really. I don't think any video could ever do Haiti any justice, due fact it was alway to show it negative way.
Tasty introduction, clear video , original song. Could you add captions (or vocal) indicating the streets' name plz ( rue XXX from delmas # toward centre ville) I am a bit lost. Overall, great Job :-)Tks
They authority really need to make some streets in Haiti one way so the cars wouldn't have to park on the sidewalks so the pedestrians get to use the sidewalks since this is why sidewalks are made for.
