@dessert57 Jerry Lewis is an amazing guy. Massive heart attack a long time ago, never quit coming, amazing resolve. As far as funny goes, he has to be put at athe top. Check out the scene in Cinderfella at the 100' long dinner table. If you look closely you can see that Henry Silva's about a nano second from losin it when the bent cigarette is hanging from his lip. BTW, my mom was from Brisbane.

I saw him live in Perth a couple of years ago btw, just wouldn't have missed that one for the world :) Still basically the only surviving superstar from the Golden years, really, think about it, he's been going since the 40's, amazing! @dessert57 Yeah, maybe the most amazing thing about JL is his will. To roll along like a freight train for so long in spite of severe health problems is incredible. I was born in '57. When I was a kid, there was Jerry Lewis and then there was everyone else. Jim Carrey is the only guy I can even consider to approach Lewis. I don't think anyone other than Carrey could have pulled "The Mask" off at all, let alone nail it beyond imagination. Check out the cigarette scene in Cinderfella.
