I saw Stereophonics when they opened for David Bowie. I think it was 2003. I've been a fan ever since. Kelly Jones is the best live singer I have ever heard.

check out his solo album, "Only the Names Have Been Changed". It's awesome.

He's a good friend of Ewen McGregor and he wrote this song specifically for the show. Stereophonics rewrote it for Long Way Down.

Stereophonics is probably the biggest band in the UK.  Every album they put out reaches #1 on Billboard.

I suppose they could do another journey called "The other way down" wherebye they go from the top of Canada, right down to the bottom of Argentina. They'd see Mexico, Panama, Columbia, Brazil, Uraguay... sounds pretty good to me. I'm sure Charley Boorman would love to see the Inca's lost city etc.

What's always fascinated me, is not the bikes or even the terrain. It's the human struggle that the men go through. You almost feel like you know them and have shared an adventure together.

although i would also love to see that, there wouldn't really be any "human Stuggle" unless they chose to go off road a lot of the time. The highway structure of south america is pretty awesome, especially compared to eastern russia/mongolia and much of africa.
