Great stuff, very many thanks. Have you done anything on the Art Tatum voicings and so forth? Even if get my head around the runs it still won't be right until I put it into context.
I am sorry. 80% of what I play is improvised. I would not play it the same today.I would take it in the same key. If I can solve my midi problems I will record that song again and post the midi transcription. Thanks for your interest.
Yes, your right. Elegy is awsome no matter what year Art recorded it.The one you put down is especially good.I am hoping to work on that this summer. Those other songs I have written down but have not played for 20 years.Thats another project to work on. Hopefully in the months to come.Keep up the good work yourself.I like your title
Well I must say I'm surprised, but certainly hope my influence is positive and some good comes out of it.----Thank You. Imagine the influence you have on them.
You have a better sensitivity than Tatum ever had.

You have the style down to a tee, lovely to hear this, it takes a very good musician to play like this and you are a very good musician. Love it.

Now all you need to do is work on that left hand so you play his type of Stride.

I really want to see that! Those are three of my favs of Tatum's. You should try Elegy as well, he strides pretty fast in that after 2:00
