This is a very old project, and at that point I only had money for iR LED and matching receiver (3 pronged version). The code on Parallax's site is broken and I no longer have the final version. I would recommend using the iR sensors by sharp, they are far more accurate and in combination with a PING))) would make this great.
What collision sensor are you using?
