interesting how people came and watched this video just to hate on Texas A&M. I was a fish at Fish Camp 09 and a counselor this year at Fish Camp 2010 and it is my favorite tradition.

@TheMayoHELLO We are a college in central texas, not New York city for crying out loud, and second unlike UT we don't give special scholarships to minorities or lower admission standards for them. Everyone at A&M is there because of their achievements not their color (we are also only 71% white here btw)

If they let people in just for the sake of them being diverse then common sense would say its robbing those who are intellectually qualified. Common sense would anyways, idk about political correctness that seems to negate common sense these days.

Im talking against the whole Affirmitive Action thing where its harder for someone in the majority to make it into a college yet easier for someone of a minority. The colleges are the ones that dont know that...or are being ignorant towards it anyways.

Its about learning the importance of a great university and making life-long friendships! i hang out with people all the time i met at fish camp, and some people even meet their soulmates. Two people in my individual discussion group are engaged. Best Experience EVER. I was also in the corps. Talk about a big turnaround from fun to hard ass shit!

I went to FC '09 Session F and had a fantastic time. I met my best friends at FC.

It's a great introduction to Texas A&M!

For those who think that this is what college is, you're wrong. FC is a fun experience for the fish, and a good bonding experience where you can expose them to the traditions of A&M, it is not representative of college life.

Also, normal college life does none of these things seen here. College doesn't have shaving cream fights. That was summer camp and high school.

A&M has such a rich tradition of history, and any other tradition is more important and representative of this school.
