wow frnd loved ur instructional, ur a master of strumm.... man. actually im a beginner.... its difficult to play any chords. but after seeing ur inst vids . i love to learn. already learnt one song - consuming fire. can u just instruct any easy songs for beginners like me. if i can learn in ur songs frnd.(in which the strumm pattern is easy to get) the song every move i make - strumm pattern is a bit different .can u instruct me how i can get cussion sound. but song is lovely

@luckidude7 hi, I am glad you were able to learn some songs from my videos. For "Every Move I Make" the strumming pattern I used is slightly harder because i used some percussion type of strumming. I did explain the strumming pattern for the shorter chords, but for the longer strumming pattern, it basically uses a D D D UDUDD DU pattern.

I really cannot much play a guitar but you make me want to learn. If it wasn't for college, work & wife all but completely losing vision (prayers appreciated), I'd try.

I came looking for Darrell Evans songs inspirational that perhaps I could use tracks to sing in church. Thanks for this contrib. I hope you have more because, when possible, I may pick up a guitar or keyboard--we'll see.

Just wanted to say you're great and I really learned from all your instructional videos =). But I was wondering when you switch chords in the middle of that strum pattern. Are you not switching off beat? Because you switch on that down strum and thats the 4th beat of the first bar, not the first beat of the second?

Thats your strum pattern right? (D = Down, u = up) If you change chords on the D underneath the 4, isn't that changing off beat? Since usually you always change on the 1 right? Just wondering, thanks.

yes, since you put it that way. I do change on the off beat. D uDuD... on the third down, i change to the next chord
