i am assuming sub adult means not quite completely grown yet..?? just wondering i have been looking for one and have came across a few terms i have not seen b4 but seem self explanatory.
you can keep young ones under 3 ft in a tub but much bigger than that they really need something pretty large. I am going to be making a lot of custom cages in the next few months. I have two sub adult red tails in a 4 x 2.5 x 2 ft enclosure but they will moved to a 6x3x2 within a yr.
LOL! yeah the audio swap was messed up and wouldnt let me pick much kept saying error so I chose the first song available so people wouldnt have to sit through a 6 min video in silence
i just got a new rtb in the mail and ive been letting it sit in quaretine and every time the snake moves it moves as if its not incontrol of its body... any tips plz comment...b4 its too late for me to do anything
that is very very bad, get it to a vet immediately! It may be inclusion body disease which is usually fatal! Keep it far far far far away from all your other reptiles and wash your hands twice after touching it or anything in its cage!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10000 *s Totally great feeding video and two gorgeous RTB's you have there Jason!!!! I noticed that you pet them after a feeding and that's a great choice as I've always maintained that human contact even when feeding. They relate to us best that way. Love the closeup shots and you know I love Boas and feeding videos. :
thats scary...my new boa thatI got looks exactly like yours. Unfortunatley she was aused i have been giving her shots daily and she will only eat f/t mice and shes about 4.5 feet. But her respitory infection is clearing up so you will be able to see her soon.
awe, poor thing! unless than snake is underweight, you can wait till its cleared up to feed her. It will be hard for her to fight an infection and digest food too. Cant wait to see her! Hope you get her switched to rats soon or she will be eating 12 to 18 mice at a time!
Awesome video! Nice boas!... All in all, PERFECT!
