i put on the cobb fmic v2.0 and my turbosmart BPV started to flutter under low boost...is this a common characteristic with the cobb fmic? I personally enjoy the flutter.
how is the hks turbo fluttering if running recirc? do they still have tight springs in them as if it is running vent? also isnt that flutter bad for the turbo? but really, who cares coz it sounds fucken awesome hahahaha
When I got the HKS BOV it said in the manual that you cant adjust the springs or anything like that. The only things you could change in it were having it VTA or re-circ. I dont know how or why it sounds like its fluttering, but Im not worried about it. When I shift at WOT, its not a fluttering sound, its a definite single whoosh sound and sounds legit.
Thanks. You can run it in recirc mode, I currently am. The cool this about it is that its not like other BPV in the sense once you run it in recirc, you cant hear it. I didnt know it was this loud on the outside of the car until the video.
those are good number dude for all those hits you mentioned. I liek the sound of the HKS SSQ, I'm thinking of upgrading my forge to something like that. Can you run that in BPV or does it have to be in VTA mode? and ways cools vid.

turbosmarts "pshhh" sounds alot better. but i love ur exhaust set-up. exactly what i'll be getting soon.

@steviekfc1 You only get the flutter like that when you have a front mount and running the blow off recirc. I personally love that sound.

AWD dyno. Cobb mainly messes with Subarus so their tuning facility is set up for AWD applications like the Imprezza.
